Chapter 20 - You're ready?

Lucys Pov:

| October 25th | Friday |

I've been living in Germany for a bit over a week now.

I have to say Berlin is a lot different from New York but also really beautiful.

Addison, Max and I are currently walking to our last class which is art. Art always reminds me of Cory because we got to know each other because of it.

In the past week I've became kinda popular because I'm friends with Max and Addison. They're apparently a big deal here and one of the most popular people.

We walked into the classroom and sat down in the back.

"Hey, man!" Max said and I looked up.

No way!

Felix, the guy Abby told us about is standing in front of me.

"Hey guys." Felix replied with a smile.

"Oh my god, you're Felix." I blurted out and he looked at me with a raised eyebrow.

"Um..yeah?" he replied confused.

"Oh, I'm Lucy, a friend of Abby." I told her and he still looked a bit confused.

"Abby Ryans."I added and his eyes widened.

"Really?" Felix asked surprised and I nodded.

"Yeah..I bet she already told you what happened." I said and he nodded.

"I'm sorry." he said and I smiled a bit.

"Its okay.."

Corys Pov:

We're now in Berlin and it's currently 12.30am. Lucy has school until 2pm and I'll pick her und and surprise her.

You probably think,"How can she just fly to germany?Is she rich?"

I wouldn't say I'm rich but I also wouldn't say I'm poor. My moms just have good paid jobs just like my grandparents.

A few of Mas friends live in berlin and we're on our way to a restaurant where we meet them.

I actually only met them a few times and the last time I've saw them was a while ago. So it might be a bit awkward.

We walked into the restaurant and they're all already there. We sat down at the table and I'm sitting between mom and Melly.

Melly, Seline, Sina and Maya are all here.

"Oh my god, it's so good to see you guys again." Seline said cheerfully.

"Great to see you too." Ma replied happily.

"Aww Cory you got so big!" Maya squealed and I chuckled.

"How are you guys and your families?" Ma asked and they all said that they were good.

"How have you guys been?" Seline asked.

"Pretty good. But lately it has been a bit hard for Cory." Mom said while placing her hand on my shoulder.

"Oh, why?" Sina asked while intertwining her fingers.

Mom looked at me, asking for permission and I nodded.

"Well..a month ago this boy shot Cory in the stomach.." she started and they all looked at me shocked.

"What?! Why?" Melly asked.

"He is obsessed with Corys girlfriend and he told her if he doesn't get her, no one does. He's probably sick and did this of jealousy or something." mom continued and Ma took her hand.

"I'm perfectly fine now, well physically." I told them and then smiled a bit.

"So..girlfriend?" Maya asked with a grin and I blushed.

"Yeah..her name is Lucy and she's really amazing." I responded with smile and everyone smiled at me.

"B-But after everything happened her aunt decided it would be the best if she comes with her here to Berlin." I said with a shrug.

"What about her parents?" Sina asked and I bite my inner cheek.

"They died in a car crash two years ago.."I responded.

"Oh.."

"So..are you here to surprise her?" Seline asked, trying to switch the subject.

"Yeah, she has been here for one and a half weeks and I miss her so much. And I'm so excited to see her again." I answered with a smile.

"How long have you two been together?" Sina asked while smiling.

"We've been together for a bit over month.We had our one month anniversary over facetime which was great..but would have been better in person." I replied and everyone smiled at me.

It's now 1.45pm and we're now on our way to the school where Lucy is going now.

Moms and Mas friends decided to come with us. Probably because they want to meet Lucy which is maybe a bit awkward but it's okay.

When we arrived at the school I became a bit nervous.

What if she isn't in school today?

What if I embarrass myself in front of her new friends?

"You're ready?" Mom asked and I took a deep breath.

"Yeah."
