A Butterfly's Trail (A Naruto Fanfic) (OC Insert)

Prologue

I look around, trying to find something interesting. I'm currently walking through the streets of Konoha. For real, I'm trying to look for a training ground. Nii-san always told me that time is so precious that it must not be wasted in useless things. True ninjas must train harder if they really want to become one.

As I walk through, I saw a blonde boy on the park. But instead of playing with the kids there, he is staying on the far end portion of the place. I'm just about to not mind him seeing that it is not my job to but in somebody's life but something hook up my attention. I slowly walk towards him. He seems to feel it as he slightly flinch and his eyes hold something I do not expect to see in a five-year old kid like me. Fear. That's what I see on those eyes. Great Fear.

"Um..." I am starting to have my doubts on my decision of approaching him. However, this caught his full attention on me.

"Can you let it go, please?"

"Huh?" Curiosity replace his eyes at my choice of words.

"The butterfly. It's not gonna survive if you continue to trap it in that cage" I pointed at the poor butterfly who's caught and trap on the cage this kid is owning.

"Oh..." He started to let the poor butterfly free from the cage.

"What's your name?" This suddenly perks his attention to me.

"I'm Naruto Uzumaki. Believe it!" He's a bit cheerful I guess.

"My name is Kizuna Sarihana. Nice to meet you, Aru-kun!"

"Aru-kun?"

"N-aru-to kun! It's a nickname that someone made for a friend"

"We're friends?" I just nod.

"Then I'll call you Kizu-chan!" He's cute but he looks a bit bruise. I look for a small cloth bag in my pouch. As I found it, I gave it to Aru-kun.

"Use this for yourself. You need a quick medication. Until then Aru-kun! See you around" I wave to him before starting my departure from the place.

"Bye Kizu-chan!" It's nice to have a friend around here.

I actually found myself following the butterfly that Aru-kun freed a while ago. It lead me to a few trees before reaching a wide field with some log post and tree circular targets. I guess I reached a training ground after all. However, I think I need to find another as someone already occupied the place. But curiosity got me as I look to the person who is having his training. Turns out that it's a kid, an Uchiha at least.

His raven-hair dances with him as he desperately tried a familiar hand sign technique within their clan. The Uchiha's famous Fire Style : Fire Ball Jutsu. However he miss one hand sign that makes the fire ball smaller in addition also with his stance and chakra control. I'll love to go in there and help him but it will only lead to me being a bad guy who butt in to people's business.

"I'm tired already" I heard him pant out. I slowly walk towards him as I reached for my water bottle. I notice two empty bottles at the side of the training ground. Maybe giving him this will give him strength to train more harder on their clan's technique.

"Want some?" The unfamiliar voice coming from me however gave him a slight fright. He slowly took on my features before sighing heavily.

"Sorry. Don't mean to scare you" I silently said. However, his lips tug up upwards as he slowly walk to me.

"I'm Sasuke Uchiha! Nice to meet you!" His bright smile have off the rumors of the Uchiha's arrogant attitude.

"I'm Kizuna Sarihana! Nice to meet you too! Here, have a drink" I gave him my bottle as he drink through it. It seems to satisfy his thirst though.

"Thanks"

"Happy to help!" The awkward silence stays until I break it.

"One more hand sign"

"Huh?"

"You lack of one more hand sign. You also have a poor chakra control and a wrong stance"

"Could you help me then?" I look at him in surprise.

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah"

It continues until nightime, which he successfully completed the jutsu. He invited me on their home which I did agreed. Anyways, that's also my next stop. As we reach the Uchiha's Compound, especifically, Sasuke's home, we entered immediately.

"Sasuke! Where have you been?" A lovely figure stands before me as she approached Sasuke with a worried look.

"I brought a friend with me, Kaa-san!" He pointed at me as I let out a small wave.

"Oh... Dear little girl. Are you by any chance, Kizuna Sarihana? You're looks kinda gave it away" I silently nod.

"You know her Kaa-san?" Sasuke ask.

"Don't you know Sasuke? Your Father told you yesterday. The Leader of the Sarihana Clan along with its family is visiting us today"

"Don't know" Sasuke slightly pout by the scolding of his mother.

"Both you, go inside now" Sasuke drag me inside while grabbing my hand. A small blush crept my face.

"Looks like we have a cute little couple right in here" we turn only to see a that both Sasuke and Mine's family is looking at us, rather watching.

"I give you my blessings, Fugaku-san" my father told an older version of Sasuke.

"You have mine too" he replied to father.

"They're cute"

"So cute~"

I started to blush more from the attention I am getting.

"Sasu-kun"

"Hm?"

"In the count of three, lead me immediately to your room"

"Hn"

"1..." His grip on my hand tighten.

"2..." I grip on his hand back.

"3!" We immediately started our pace as he lead me upstairs as we hear our family's laughter from below.

That's the start of everything.
