[14] Facing a Rogue (Part 3)

Kizuna's Pov

Another replica of Zabuza appeared from nowhere which cause us to panicked.

"Do you think wearing a headband makes you a ninja? The four of you have forehead protectors on as if you think you're real ninjas. But ninja refers to someone who has gone through numerous life and death situations. In other words, you can call yourself a ninja when you appear in my Bingo book... You four aren't ninja" the mist cover the place once again.

Just then, Aru-kun was kicked harshly from behind by Zabuza's clone in a snap. Aru-kun's head protector drop and was stepped on by that water clone.

"You're just brats" I was shoked. Is he ticking me off or something? Because he really sure do.

"Naruto!"

"Everyone! Get Tazuna and run! You can't win against him!" Kakashi-sensei commands. "He can't move as long as he has me trapped in this water prison. He also won't be able to use his water clone once you get away from him! Run for now!"

Sasuke's Pov

'Run? You must be kidding. That was no longer an option the moment you got caught. Even if we run, Zabuza will get to us sooner or later since we won't have you and we'll be annihilated. So in the end, we don't have much a choice. If we try a Manji Defense Formation, he can get around it in an instant. In the end, if we're on our own, we're done for. Our only chance of survival is... To rescue you!'

"We have to do it!" But before I could even attack, Izu said something.

Kizuna's Pov

"Think of a plan. I'll buy you guys some time" I race to the clone as I tighten my grip on Myougonichi. I swing it over his head, he ducks and i tried to kick him but he caught it. I swirl over, having him to let go as jump back and tries to attack again. He use the sword over his back to block at, and despite it being a clone, its man power overpowered mine. I got thrown over, rolls a bit before having my composure back and kneeling to stop myself from sliding.

"Kizuna-chan!"

I jump back beside Sasu-kun to try to replenish my chakra.

Naruto's Pov

"Kizu-chan got..."

'This is a Jounin... A real ninja. I have to run! At this rate... we'll... we'll get killed for sure!'

I turn around, only for my left hand to hurt from the wound.

"Ouch"

I suddenly pierce his hand with a kunai.

"Why am I so different? Why am I always–" I groan in pain.

"Naruto! Stop! What are doing?" Sakura ask panicked and worriedly.

"Aru-kun..." Kizu-chan trailed.

"I work so hard to get here. Pushing myself until it hurt, training alone for hours, anything to get stronger, to reach my dreams. I will never back down and let others rescue me again. I will never run away, and I will not lose to Sasuke. Upon this wound, I make this pledge, believe it! Bridge builder, I complete this mission, and protect you with this kunai knife" I said, determination filling me.

I look over my headband which is being step on.
