[25] Shino-kun and Shika-kun

Kizuna's Pov

What Rounee have said about me having the Ryousugan is true. I discovered more of its power but still hard to control. I just found out about it when we came back here.

Haru is under my wing now. Meaning my Hold, my Responsibility. Although, I must say, he's responsible on his own. He's staying with me at home and have me company. He was ranked as a Konoha chūnin by Lord Hokage yesterday. But still, Haru will be guarded by Anbu Ninjas until Lord Hokage and the Council saw him as not a threat. He's now a Sarihana, under some law written papers. But I'll make him a real one someday, but not today. I don't know why did Lord Hokage did make him one but it is fine by me.

Never hurts to have someone join the family.

I have been training with Sasu-kun lately, and hell he was one heck of an opponent. We usually settled for combat and all-out sparring. It was so tiring I tell you.

Kakashi-sensei called us over the bridge for some missions and such but knowing that he'll arrive late, might do as well imitate.

I saw a familiar pineapple-head on a bench under a tree, playing shōgi with himself again.

"Shika-kun!"

I walk over the forest for some scenery watching to somehow relax. Chūnin Exams are arriving sooner than expected and it's really a great wonder if me and the team will be able to join. Afterall, Jounin leaders will decide whether for their teams to join or not. I really wish we could though. It'll be a great experience to text whether we've grown or not.

"Kizu... What are you doing here?" He started as I sit infront of him. "Nothing much... Do you want to play a round?"

He fix the pieces of the board as I watch some kids playing passing by.

"Its been a while since we had each other's company, don't you think?" I started as he finished setting the game up. "You're right. Everyone's been busy getting stronger after our teams are officially approved. And with the missions giving out one after another, we can only use our vacant time to either rest or train"

He sighs as I smile at him.

"Oh! Speaking of teams... How was your team?"

I move a lance two spaces forward. I look at him as he is having his full attention to the shōgi board, moves a pawn forward and finally looking up on me.

"If I'll be truthful with you... Choji is the only one I could tolerate. Ino keeps talking about Sasuke all the time while Senru keeps flirting on every girl he passes by. I don't actually know what I'm gonna do with those two" he said frustratingly as took my turn and move a piece. "How is it going anyway? Being Ino as your team leader?"

I tease him a bit as I remembered a certain event from the day our teams has been declared that Ino will be their leader.

"Don't even mention that. It's troublesome enough that she's part of the team" I laugh a bit as I look at him. "It's a family tradition, right? It's part to creating the best suited team formations for your skills"

I move a Silver General three spaces diagonally to avoid an opposing piece.

"Enough about my team. What about yours?"

"My team wasn't so bad. If only I could get Sakura to actually train harder... I could handle Aru-kun and Sasu-kun alright"

"Those two were real trouble, you know? So troublesome" I laugh at him as I rose up making him confused.

"Where you going? We just started the talk about your team and you're going?"

"I have to meet my team soon. Let's talk some other day, okay?" His face brightened a bit as he nod. I was about to walk off when I remembered something. I turn to him and move my last piece on the board.

"Checkmate"

I was walking around when somehow,  my chakra is being drain in a certain way. I look for something all over my body until I saw I little bug chilling on my shoulder. If this bug is here, Shino-kun must be somewhere near.

"Hello there little guy. Why you chillin there?" I scoop the little bug into my hands as I deliver a few chakra for it to eat.

I search for his chakra signature around the place and locate his somewhere unfamiliar to me. I follow his signature until I reached a place I never recognize. It's a garden full blooming flowers and butterflies.

There's some bugs resting over the flower leaves. I walk carefully trying to avoid stepping those little creatures around.

"Shino-kun! Shino-kun!" I walk around a little further as someone decided to surprise the hell out of me.

"Kizuna-chan. Why are you here?" The voice was faint but recognizable.

"Shino-kun" I turned to him and reached out my palm. "I found him chilling on. Just returning"

"Kizuna-chan. Your chakra..."

"Don't worry about it. I'm just going to do small missions for today. It'll replenish somehow. And also... " I look back the garden aa I cherish every bit of beauty. "This view good enough"

"Oh.."

I look at him as I gently rub the little creature on his hand. "Y'know... I love bugs, especially butterflies"

"Really?"

I look up to him and smile. "Yeah"

"This cute creatures maybe small but together, they're powerful indeed" I stop rubbing the cute little creature as I slightly push Shino's hood back and ruffle his hair.

"If you need someone to talk to, I'm here Shino-kun. I'm your friend. Do you get it?" He just nod. I smile once more as I play with the butterflies without a care in the world.

I didn't notice Shino's blushing either.

After I few moments, I went back to Shino to bid goodbye.

"I'll go to my team now. See you around Shino-kun"

"Take care Kizuna-chan"

"You too!"

Now off we go to the Team 7!
