[18] Kaiza

Kizuna's Pov

It's dinner time and we're sitting together in a table as Mr Tazuna laugh out.

"Hahaha. This is fantastic! It's been ages since we have so many guest around our table" Mr Tazuna said. Aru-kun and Sasu-kun gradually ingest the food hurriedly.

"Some more!" They both said simultaneously. I continuesly eat my food as they both glare at each other. Later on, they throw it up, making me shudder. I don't want to eat some more if my companions in the table acts like this.

"Hey you two! Don't eat so much if you're just gonna throw it up!" Sakura yells at the two.

"It's disgusting, you know?" I said.

"But I have to eat" Sasu-kun said.

"And I have to eat more than him. It's the only possible way I'll get started enough to beat him, believe it!" Aru-kun said.

"That's very true. But still, puking won't help you" Kakashi-sensei tells.

"Yeah" Sakura

I watch everyone continuing to eat their food. I lost my appetite because of the two. As everyone finish eating, I help out Ms. Tsunami, Mr Tazuna's daughter to wash the dishes.

"Let me help you, Ms Tsunami"

"But-"

"It's fine. I want to help out somehow" she nods as we started to wash the dishes.

"Excuse me..." I heard Sakura said.

"This picture is torn. Is there some reason for that? I mean, Inari kept on glancing at it all through dinner. It looks like there was someone else in the picture with you. But they got torn out. It's a shame, it looks like the picture is been took nicely. I mean, that's kind of suspicious, doesn't it?" The atmosphere suddenly changed into a gloomy one.

"Hey Sakura! Don't suddenly ask out questions out of the blue like that! Did you even think about it if it's a sensitive topic?" I scolded her. She shudder at me.

"Sorry Kizuna-chan!" I sigh at her. Could she, at least read the atmosphere.

Everyone is know looking, slightly disappointed at Sakura. Mr Tazuna has his an angry face while Inari is feeling down.

"It's my husband" Ms Tsunami said.

"They used to call him a hero in this island before" Mr Tazuna added. Inari stomp off his seat and headed at the door.

"Inari! Where are you going?" He leaves without saying anything.

"Sorry Kizuna. Could you do these for me?" I nod.

"Father! I told you that you can't talk about him infront of Inari. You know that!" Ms Tsunami yells at Mr Tazuna before leaving the room.

"So Inari... What happened to him?" I glared at Sakura which caused her to flinch.

"Hmmm. Is there a story behind this?" Kakashi-sensei ask. I just continue to wash the dishes.

"He wasn't his real father. He came to our family later on. He brought us so much happiness. He and Inari were very close" Mr Tazuna started. I turn and saw Aru-kun looking at the picture.

"In those days, Inari used to laugh all the time" Mr Tazuna said as point out at the picture. Inari is smiling and laughing. He looks so innocent.

"But it all ended... He never laugh or smiles anymore, ever since that day, everything changed. The word courage was stolen from this land. We were left feeling powerless, hopeless and Inari suffered the most. Ever since that day, every since that happened..." Mr Tazuna trailed.
