[21] Haku and Haru

Kizuna's Pov

"I leave Naruto in your hands. He has pushed his body to the limit. Overdoing as usual. So, he may not be able to move today at all" Kakashi-sensei said to Ms Tsunami.

"What about you? You're still recovering yourself" Ms Tsunami said worriedly.

"Why? Do I look wobbly? I'll be fine"

"Come on! Let's go!" Mr Tazuna yells.

I made clones to scout the area surrounding the bridge ahead of us. We're about to get near the bridge, but what we saw surprised us. All the workers are down.

"Hold on! W-what happened here?" Mr Tazuna ask. The fog got a little bit thicker.

"I can still hear their breathing. They're still alive Mr Tazuna" I said.

"Sorry I keep you waiting Kakashi. I see you still keep those brats with you. And look. It seems that one's still trembling. What a shame" I heard Zabuza's voice among the fog.

"So my suspicions are right all along. That you, Zabuza, are not yet dead" Then, a lot of Zabuza's clones surrounded us.

"I'm trembling... With excitement" I heard Sasu-kun said.

"Go on. Sasuke. Kizuna" I nod and grab Myougonichi and sliced through some clones in a second. Sasu-kun seems to do the same. We slightly got ourselves a bit far from Kakashi-sensei and the rest.

"Sasuke! You're so cool!"

"Well, look at that. Seems like you got some rival, Haku. Haru" Zabuza said. There stood two boys with a mask to their face, long bangs in each side of their faces and based on their height and body structure, their ages aren't far from us. Then, from the mist, there came a wind spinning at a central point going to Sasu-kun. I was then surrounded circularly by a fast pace with a light shining us a bit. I keep on pacing around, trying to find on where he'll attack.

"This is getting a little bit nerve-wracking" I mumbled to myself. Then the spin stop, making me swing Myougonichi to my left, countering a sebon needle that was heading to me. Then, he started doing some single-hand hand signs.

After a while, me and Sasu-kun have made a hit on our own opponents making them back up to Zabuza.

"You thought you were quicker? What else are you wrong about?"

"You've make a big mistake underestimating these ninjas you were calling brats. Sasuke is the number one rookie fighter at our village. Sakura is the most intelligent of them all. Our fastest ninja and strategist, Kizuna. And the last but not the least, our number one hyperactive knucklehead ninja. He's Naruto Uzumaki" Kakashi-sensei complimented.

"Now, we need to get serious" Haku and Haru headed to us and we both seperate our ways. Haru keep on throwing me sebon needles as I keep on doing backflips to avoid them. I can barely see Sasu-kun from afar. Even Kakashi-sensei or Sakura are out of my sight.

"Secret Ninjutsu : Demonic Ice Mirrors"

I turn around, trying to run away from his jutsu only to be block by some mirrors. Then it surrounded me next. I must not really let my guard down. I saw Haru go inside the mirrors.

I keep Myougonichi at my back as I take out a kunai. Then a sebon hit my side from the left, then at back, then at the top, then at right. It keep on going like that at a fast pace. I keep on trying to defend myself from her attacks. Some sebon needles are stuck at my back. There are also a few scratches in my body. I start to form a single-handed hand signs.

"Wind Style : Sphere Barrier"

I plop down in pain. For now, this will protect me from the attacks of Haru, but not for long. Then, there was a smoke coming from the area where Sasu-kun is. I'm already able to see Kakashi-sensei fighting off Zabuza.

"Here comes the Savior! Naruto Uzumaki!" I facepalm at him.

"Isn't all superninja like this. They'll come later on and save the day! Shado–"

"Naruto! You shouldn't do hand signs infront of your enemy. A ninja must know how to deceive other people and let them play along according to his or her own plan. In doing that, its like putting yourself infront of Death itself!" Kakashi-sensei scolded.

"Eh?! Please, don't scold me. I only just came here to help you guys" Aru-kun said. Then Zabuza laugh and throw some kunai on Aru-kun's direction. I was nervous for Aru-kun. But then, another step of sebon deflected it. There was a long silence before it was cut off.

"Huh? Haku? What's the meaning of this?"

"Let me deal with him, Zabuza"

"I see. You're still soft on your enemies"

"You! You're the one who made a scene back then! How dare you to show yourself here after what you've done?!" Aru-kun yell.

"It is like what your Sensei said.  A ninja must know how to deceive other people. It's your fault that you fell for it" then I saw Sasu-kun, inside of another Ice Mirrors, throw a kunai at Haku. He turn to Sasu-kun

"Oh I see. I know you don't want to be ignored so I'll finish you first" then he turn to Aru-kun. "I'll deal with you later"

"Ahh!" I silently groan as a sebon manage to go pass the barrier and scratch my left cheek. I look at back at Haru's movements as he keep on throwing sebon on me. I look at Sasu-kun's direction seeing him doing his clan's fire technique. I watch as the mirrors didn't melt even one time.

"Argghh!" Another sebon flew pass me and this time, it hit my shoulder.

"This time, please focus on your own opponent" Haru said. I'm now used to his movements. I drop my weights in both my feet and hands. I disable the jutsu and keep my kunai on my ninja pouch. I grab Myougonichi and ready myself for an attack. If this ice doesn't melt from fire, then we need an an attack from the inside and outside. But that would be impossible because Aru-kun entered Haku's jutsu.

I block all the sebon heading for me. I dodge some. I'm trying to collect as much chakra as possible. Right now, matching Haru's speed is the only thing I could think off. This last for a minute and so bagore I heard Aru-kun's scream on the other side. I need to think of a plan to break through these mirrors.

Then force would be it. A great force is what I need to break these mirrors. I keep on flipping back and forth to avoid the sebons. When I made at the center, I made a small cut on my palm and smear my blood while immediately do some hand signs.

"Forbidden Jutsu : Bloody Chains!"
