[15] Truth About Zabuza's Death

Kizuna's Pov

I opened my eyes only to squinted cause of the lights. I hate light, that's why I wake up around 4 or 5, those hours because it's still dark outside.

"What a good thing that both of you are awake now. Are you two alright?" an unfamiliar voice said. I finally opened them only to see a lady, probably around her early 30s. Kakashi-sensei is beside me.

"Probably. Thank you" I replied

"I've been better. It'll be a week before I can move normally" Kakashi-sensei said as he groans in pain.

"Hmm. It's better not to move so just lay down" she said as Kakashi-sensei follows.

"You young lady? Does anything hurt?"

"I'm fine now. It was just chakra depletion. No injuries. Thank you for the concern" I answered. Everyone then comes inside.

"Kizu-chan!" Aru-kun exclaimed happily as he hug me tightly.

"Dobe! Let go of her or she'll die of suffocation" Sasu-kun said as he glare at Aru-kun. Aru-kun removes his arms around me and smile sheeply at me. I smile back. We all turn to Kakashi-sensei because out of all of us, he's the most injured one in here.

"Listen Sensei. Your Sharingan is amazing and everything but if it puts that much strains on you then maybe it's not worth it" Sakura said to Kakashi-sensei.

"Sorry" Kakashi-sensei apologize. Then she look at me.

"And you Kizuna-chan. If you don't know to at least leave chakra for your body after using so, then better to not use it at all. We don't want you to just collapsed after helping out and such" now she really acts like a mother or something.

Let me get things straight. Me and Sakura doesn't have any grudge at each other, even though I have connections to Sasu-kun. I made it clear before at the academy when I first took a step on it that I will not tolerate anyone who take away my patience and hurt Aru-kun both physically and emotionally. I don't care whatever anyone does, just make sure that they don't get on my nerves. They all obliged, sometimes, except for the fangirls of Sasu-kun so they get scold by me sometimes. Things just get a bit darker when it comes to Aru-kun but no one tries except for a laugh here and there and a little shouting, except again for the fangirls that got a threatening from me sometimes. But they never got mad at me and we're in good terms.

"Well, you did take down one of the most powerful Ninja Assassin so we will be safe for a while" Mr Tazuna said.

"Right. But did you know those boys in the masks, Kakashi-sensei?" Sakura ask.

'Boys in the Masks?'

"Long story"

"Those are tracker ninjas. That should be enough in your case" Kakashi-sensei said to me. I nod. So they've already met tracker ninjas in this place?

"Huh? What do you mean in Kizuna-chan's case?" Sakura ask.

"Kizuna already knows the whole information capacity of tracker ninjas. She doesn't need an explanation from me anymore" he explains. This is what a reading hobby is for.

"Just explain it for them Kakashi-sensei" I said.

"They're from the Elite Tracking Unit of the Vilalge Hidden in the Mist. Those masks are only worn by the most Elite Shinobi. The Annual Black Ops, also known as Inferno Squad, destroy all traces of a Rogue Ninja'd corpse. The Shinobi's body contains many secrets. Ninjutsu, Chakra, special medicines used on his body. These are the secrets of his village. If his enemies find them, his people will be in grave danger. In instance, if I were to die at the hands of an enemy, he would try to analyze my Sharingan. In the worst case, my entire jutsu could be stolen and use against our home village. It is the sacred duty of the shinobi trackers to prevent this to keep the village's secrets safe. If a ninja betrays his village, the trackers hunt him, eliminate him and obliterate every trace of his existence. That's their specialty" Kakashi-sensei explain. My attention was diverted when someone hold my hand.
