to fulfill one's aims
What Else Is There To Anticipate From Wynter Reyes?
Like many of us expected last year, Wynter Reyes outdid herself during the 18/19 football season. As promised to her many fans across the world, she successfully managed to woo us all over with her high-class playing ability. She displayed such nature during the Champions League, scoring a Ronaldo-like goal in the semi-final against Barcelona and essentially leading the Reds to claim the title once again after a dreadful fourteen years of waiting.
Along with the Champions League, Reyes also displayed her athleticism within the Premier League, setting up and scoring many goals for her club. And although Liverpool failed to win the Premier League (once again), the french player managed to snatch up a PL Award along with her teammates, Sadio Mané and Mo Salah, the pair winning the Golden Boot Award while Reyes won the Young Player Award.
As the french player has won the Men's World Cup and the Champions League title, Reyes was asked in a recent interview about her goals and aims for the upcoming season. This was her response;
"I guess I'll be going for things that I haven't achieved yet, so like the Premier League. Though at the same time, I'm hoping that throughout the season, there'll be significant changes that will benefit not only myself but all of the female players or simply any players who aren't as prioritised as others. . . The way in which they conduct certain things in football is outdated and with this day and age, there needs to be actual changes around here. . ." — Wynter Reyes to LFCTV.
After this particular interview came into the light of the media, many football players and even some of Nathan Reyes' fellow basketball associates (such as Devin Booker, D'Angelo Russell, LeBron James, etc.) came to Wynter's support. It's known to many people out there that Reyes is one for women's right within football and despite her unfortunate fallout under UEFA and its parent organisation, FIFA, last season, she is willing to work alongside the football associations to come to an agreement about women's position in football.
However, one particular person stuck out to the fans and that person happened to be Trent Alexander-Arnold, Reyes' significant other. When asked about his girlfriend's words, the right-back always has the correct words to say about the situation. All in all, granting Reyes with undivided support.
Despite Wynter's countless wins, high ratings and awards during the last season, some are wondering whether it will last until the end of the next season, wondering how she'll cope in the men's football environment once again. What do guys think of this opinion? On another note, you can check out to see if the french player is still in her prime by watching Liverpool's first match of the 19/20 PL season tomorrow against the newly-promoted team, Norwich City.
