If Deku Had the Omnitrix

Round 2

       When he continued to walk home, he heard an explosion off in the distance. Deku was filled with excitement and ran to the source of the sound so he could take notes on whatever hero shows up. Once he got there, excitement turned to worry as he saw that the villain causing all the commotion was the one that tried to kill him earlier, and none of the heroes were able to fight against him. Midoriya took pity on whoever was the victim of the sludge villain until he saw who the victim was...Bakugou.

       The moment his childhood friend and bully made eye contact with him, he automatically started running while turning the dial on his watch. He transformed into XLR8, his fastest alien, and rushed towards the villain's eye. His speed was so immense that every bit of fire he rushed passed immediately extinguished. He jabbed the sludge's eye, which caused him to recoil, giving Bakugou a chance to breathe. As Bakugou was more exposed, it gave XLR8 Deku the opportunity to grab him and set him free.

       After Bakugou was out of the sludge villain's grasp, All Might showed up with a SMASH, causing the villain to go unconscious, while the wind pressure from the punch caused the weather to change. All Might immediately jumps away after defeating the villain, leaving an applauding crowd.

       XLR8 Deku was praised for saving the boy from the sludge villain, while Bakugou was also praised for having such a strong quirk, but also warned about how setting off so many explosions was reckless. As the news was asking Deku about if he was a new hero, he timed out to reveal that he was only a middle schooler. This led to Deku also being told off about how it's illegal to do hero work without having a license but praised even more for being so brave and having a strong quirk.

       Both boys eventually were let off by the media, and Bakugou approached Deku saying, "I didn't need your stupid help shitty Deku. You thought that you could get away with lying about not having a quirk? I can't believe you treated me as if I was the weak one. No matter what, even with you LYING to me all our lives, I'm still better than your stupid speed. Hah it makes sense why you hid it for so long, your quirk is so weak compared to mine, you still would be Deku no matter what." Bakugou laughs and walks off in denial, as Deku looks off at him, and continues home.

       All Might shows up by sliding out of a corner to greet Deku and thanking him for saving Bakugou. He also apologized for not being careful and dropping the sludge villain. "To answer your question from earlier" All Might starts "after seeing you jump into action to save that boy, even as the other pro heroes didn't, it shows that you have the true heart of a hero. Even though you said your power was borrowed, it seemed like it was entirely yours. You too can be a hero, young Midoriya, your power is what you make of it." All Might then jumps off, leaving Deku stunned.

       Over the next 10 months, in preparation for the UA entrance exam, Midoriya cleaned up the beach with his training, trying to make the watch's power his own.
