If Deku Had the Omnitrix

Taking Over

Deku and Todoroki have a talk about how he used his fire, and his past with Endeavor. He tells Deku that he’s going to beat him without using his left side. He also noted how after the USJ incident he was then only one who was able to contact All Might, meaning that they had some sort of connection. This caused Todoroki to say that it gives him an even greater reason to beat him, as his father is the number 2 hero. Deku says that he won’t lose, and that he declares war against Todoroki as well, as they both have the same goal despite living different lives.

    (If Deku used Heatblast in the obstacle course) Todoroki also expressed how he couldn’t counter against Deku during the obstacle course. He stood his ground, and said that no matter what, he could use his ice to overpower Deku’s transformation in order to win. 

As Midnight explains the finals, Ojiro and Shoda (from class 1-B) decide to withdraw as they don’t remember how they even made it to the finals due to Shinso’s quirk. As two new students take the place of those who withdrew, Midoriya sees who his opponent is. Shinso.

Shinso approaches Deku and asks if he’s excited, but before he could respond, Ojiro covers his mouth with his tail, in order to prevent him from getting affected by Shinso’s quirk. Ojiro warns Deku not to respond to any of Shinso’s questions, as that’s how it seems to activate his quirk.

Right when Deku is about to exit his tunnel to go onto the stage for his fight, All Might in his shrunken form shows up behind him wishing him luck. Deku still isn’t used to seeing his idol like that, so he was taken aback for a second. “I saw how you did during the obstacle course, and cavalry battle, you did amazing my boy! It really seems like you got your power under control, and from one borrowed quirk user to another, I wish you good luck.” Deku nods, “I won’t let you down All Might!” 

Present Mic explains the rules as the two boys walk onto the stage, “EITHER YOU IMMOBILIZE YOUR OPPONENT,  KNOCK THEM OUT OF THE RING, OR GET THEM TO FORFEIT!” Shinso starts talking about how Ojiro was a fool for throwing away his chance to be in the finals, and says insults towards him, which infuriates Deku. “Don’t you talk about him that way!” Deku spouts angrily, as he suddenly is unable to move. Shinso then commands Deku to walk out of the ring, and being under his control, he begins walking. Deku sees that he’s walking out of the ring, but nothing is making him be able to regain control of his body, until his watch begins beeping, and glowing green. 

At the very last second, Deku was enveloped in a flash of green, causing Shinsou to have to shield his eyes. When the flash died down, Deku was nowhere to be seen. “DID IZUKU MIDORIYA JUST DISAPPEAR?!” Present Mic screamed. But then, Ghostfreak Deku became visible to the crowd, and everyone was in shock and started applauding. “How did you do that!?” Shinso yelled questioningly. But Ghostfreak knew better than to respond. 

Deku was thinking “I did it again! I transformed without touching the watch!” but then his thought was cut off by the voice of his own transformation. “Hah. You think that was your power? I just decided that I don’t want to be connected to someone who would,ve been a loser, so I took over.” “You-you’re my transformation talking?” Deku said in his head. “Yes, I’m an Ectonurite, and each strand of my kind’s DNA holds their consciousness, so that’s why I was able to override the omnitrix and take control of my body again.” “Omnitrix? So that’s what the watch is called…” 

Cutting off the conversation in Deku’s head was Shinso talking about how Deku was lucky having a quirk that was powerful, and blessed for having a heroic quirk. Deku tried to go and fight Shinso, but like when he was mind controlled, he couldn’t move. “I’m going to take over this fight” Ghostfreak said, as he started rushing towards the purple haired boy. Shinso tried to fight back by throwing punches, but it simply just went through the Ghostfreak’s body. 

“Hah, this is going to be easy,” Ghostfreak chuckled. He then started punching Shinso, picked him up and flew straight through the ground causing Shinso to hit the floor. Ghostfreak threw Shinso around to the point that he started coughing up blood. The brutalization got to the point that the crowd started booing Ghostfreak and told the administration to make them stop. Midnight announced “Midoriya, stop right this instant or else you’re eliminated from the tournament.” 

Not wanting to lose, Ghostfreak then gave Shinso an order. “Step out of the ring” Shinso shakily responded “...what?” Ghostfreak didn’t respond. Shinso knew that he lost, so he got up, and limped out of bounds, meaning that Izuku Midoriya would continue to the next round.
