"Have no fear students, because I am here." All Might's powerful voice immediately gave all the students hope, but the look on his face wasn't his signature smile, but pure rage. All Might rushed towards the Nomu and grabbed Deku from its grasp, throwing him to safety. All Might started fighting against the Nomu while Deku watched from a distance. All Might was hitting the Nomu, using his signature smashes, but to no effect. Then, the Nomu and the warp gate villain grabbed All Might in his weak spot, causing him to not be able to escape from the Nomu's grasp. Deku had to do something, so he just started running towards him, but a warp gate from the fog villain appeared in front of him.
Just when he was almost inside the warp, Bakugou appeared blasting the fog away from him and grabbing his metal body hidden inside the fog. Todoroki then appears freezing the Nomu in place, giving All Might the ability to escape. Kirishima then shows up too, attempting to hit the hand villain but missing. The Nomu's body parts are broken off from the ice, but it starts regenerating them instantaneously. The Nomu then runs to free the fog villain from Bakugou, causing All Might to save him and take the hit.
All Might then uses the remainder of his strength to defeat the Nomu. He uses the full power punches over and over, creating powerful wind pressure around the fight. The Nomu eventually starts getting affected by the hits, as All Might's strength overrides the shock absorption and regeneration that it has. All Might gathers all the power of One For All inside of him, and yells, "UNITED STATES OF SMASH." He hits the Nomu one last time, sending it flying out of the USJ.
The villains and All Might then are at a standstill. Deku can see that All Might is visibly weakened as he's studied him for years. The hand villain then runs towards All Might and seeing how he won't be able to fight back, Deku runs towards them. Somehow, he transformed without even touching his watch and turned into a transformation he's never seen before, Cannonbolt. He quickly moves over to All Might in ball form, opening up to grab him, and rolling into a ball again. When the hand villain goes after Deku, he gets shot multiple times by the hero Snipe. Everyone then notices that Iida had brought the UA faculty to fight against all the villains. The villains know they're corned, so fog villain, Kurogiri, and the hand villain. Shigaraki, warp away.
Deku unwraps from ball form, letting go of All Might. But, he's now in his true form. Cementoss creates a wall blocking the view of All Might from the rest of the students. Deku times out, but he's freaking out over how he grabbed that guy, where All Might went. (While also thinking about how he transformed without touching his watch.) "I'll explain it all to you later, but we get our injuries checked out first" deflated All Might said reassuringly.
When all the students were checked upon by the heroes and police, Deku went to get an explanation from All Might, where he learned about his injury, and One For All. Deku then explained that he also had a borrowed power, and told him about his watch. All Might recognized that Deku noticed that he was weakened and saved him, so he offered his quirk to him. Deku denied saying, "You're the one who told me to make my power my own, and I'm still working on it. I'm going to become a hero with the quirk that I gained, all on my own." Deku then left All Might to heal, feeling a bit proud that he and All Might had this similarity, but sad that his hero didn't have much time left.
