I've Never Seen a Diamond in the Flesh

When Deku is in a room, preparing himself by playing out each possible move Bakugou might use and the counter his transformation would use, he hears a door behind him slam open. “WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING IN HERE DEKU!?” Bakugou growls. “HUH!? WAITING ROOM 2- DAMNIT” Deku gives his childhood friend a scared look. “I might of gotten the room wrong, but know that no matter what stupid transformation you have, I’m going to beat you. It won’t be like last time” Bakugou says, blowing up the table. Bakugou begins walking outside when Deku says, “I know it won’t be like last time, you’re more prepared to deal with my transformations now. No matter what let’s both try our best and aim for the top!” 

Both boys are on the stage. “BOTH OF THESE STUDENTS HAVE HAD BRUTAL MATCHES, NOW IT’S A BATTLE AGAINST BRUTALITY. FROM THE HERO COURSE, BAKUGOU KATSUKI. ALSO FROM THE HERO COURSE, IZUKU MIDORIYA. NOW START!!!” Present Mic screams excitedly. 

Deku had been preparing for this moment ever since he got the omnitrix. For several months he had made several notebooks filled with notes about how each transformation could fight back against Bakugou. After all this time, it was the moment of truth. It was time to see if all his studying of Bakugou Katsuki would earn him a victory. 
   
“NOW START!” rings into Deku’s ears and he immediately presses down on the omnitrix. His body starts hardening all the way from his feet, rising up to cover his face. The flash of the omnitrix is enhanced by the reflection of the shiny diamond-like material that is now encased all over Deku’s body. To counter Bakugou's explosions, he chose to be Diamondhead. 

Diamondhead Deku sends a fleet of crystals towards Bakugou, in the same style as Todoroki’s ice. Bakugou yells “DAMMIT” as he continually blasts the incoming crystals, but too much is coming towards him, as he gets encapsulated. The crowd is silent and in shock, and Todoroki gives a small smile knowing that Deku copied his move. The crystals start rumbling, and eventually Bakugou blasts his way out of the crystals. Bakugou uses his explosions to propel his way towards Deku, and Diamondhead Deku counters by shooting crystal projectiles at him. Bakugou maneuvers through the air dodging the crystals, and only a couple grazed him across the face.

Diamondhead formed pillars of crystals that erupted from the ground, trying to cause Bakugou smack into one, but he's able to weave between each one.

As Bakugou gets closer, Diamondhead Deku switches to defence and morphs his hands to make them sharp. Bakugou goes to blast Deku right in the face, but Deku tries to hit Bakugou on his side. Bakugou then blasts his way up, dodging the hit, and gets behind Deku as he fires an explosion right on his back. Bakugou is frustrated as his attack did little to no damage because of how study Diamondhead’s body is. 

Diamondhead Deku slides away on a trail of crystals while shooting projectiles at Bakugou. Bakugou keeps chasing after Deku, dodging as many crystals as he can without losing his speed. 

Deku makes a turn and heads straight towards Bakugou, and when he tries to make an explosion, Deku creates a wall of crystals, and starts pushing Bakugou out of bounds. Bakugou then propelled himself over the wall, and started using his explosions to make himself spin. He starts spinning faster and faster, heading straight towards Diamondhead Deku. “HOWITZER IMPACT” Bakugou yells as he sets off a huge explosion while spinning. The entire audience was hit by a blast of wind from the explosion, as the crystals around that area were blown to pieces.

As all the smoke clears, Bakugou is standing, ready to see that he was able to destroy Deku’s diamond transformation, but is shocked to see that his attack didn’t knock him out. Diamondhead Deku is standing with his arms making an X shape, and crystals behind his back, which was used to shield him from being pushed out of bounds. The marks in the ground show that he was pushed back several feet, and several cracks and scorch marks were left on Diamondhead Deku’s forearms from where he was blasted.
