If Deku Had the Omnitrix

Later on in the day, the class that Deku was most excited about arrives. Hero Basic Training with All Might. The class walks out into a battleground, all in their hero costumes, and Deku with the one his mom made, after seeing his transformation notebook. This costume was a green full body suit that had two rabbit ear-like shapes coming out of the head. He had the same hourglass symbol that was on his watch on his chest and he had short sleeves so the watch wouldn't be covered.

All Might gives the instructions on what they'll be doing, a 2 v 2 battle in a building. The hero team will have to secure the weapon that the villains have within the time limit, and the villains will have to protect the weapon. Hero team Midoriya and Uraraka vs villain team Iida and Bakugou. When it's time to go, Deku decides to not transform until it's necessary so he won't waste time if he times out. He could easily transform as his speedster alien, XLR8, and win the match in less than a second, but he thought it wouldn't be fair to Uraraka as she wouldn't be able to take part as much or fair to his opponents as they wouldn't even have a chance. Plus, he was excited to have his first fight with Bakugou while using his quirk, and his first real person fight in general using his quirk.

"Your name is Deku right?" Uraraka asks. "Huh? No, it's Midoriya," he replies. "Deku is just what Kacchan calls me to tell me I can't do anything." "Mmm, well to me it sounds like dekiru, meaning 'to be able to do.' So Deku to me makes me feel like 'I can do it!'" Uraraka says smiling. The two walk along the corridor when they're ambushed by Bakugou. Deku has studied Bakugou for years, so when he comes in with his signature right hook, he's able to counter-attack. "Run Uraraka!" Deku says. Uraraka follows his command and runs away from the scene, and goes to find where the bomb is. While Bakugou is still down, he transforms into the best alien that could go against him in close quarters.

Bakugou gets up to yell at Deku, but he's gone. Suddenly, he feels like he's standing in a freezer, and hears Deku whispering behind him. Still, gone. "WHAT KIND OF GAME ARE YOU PLAYING USELESS DEKU!?" Bakugou yells. Ghostfreak appears in front of him saying "I'll play whatever game I want with you." Bakugou blasts him, but it goes right through Deku's body. "ANOTHER STUPID FORM? WHAT THE HELL KIND OF QUIRK HAVE YOU BEEN HIDING FROM ME?!" Deku then punches Bakugou in the face. Bakugou tries to fight back, but it's useless against Ghostfreak's density shifting. Bakugou was so sick of the one-sided battle, that he used his gauntlet to try to blow Deku away. Of course, the large-scale attack did nothing against him. "STOP WITH THAT. LET ME HIT YOU" Bakugou yells. "So you want to get physical now? I can work with that" Deku replied chillingly.

Deku opens up his skin to show the true form of Ghostfreak, and tentacles emerge from his body, grabbing Bakugou. He throws him against the wall repeatedly until he stops and slowly floats closer to him. "Is this what you've been hiding? You've had a quirk this whole time, and let me believe you didn't? WERE YOU TRYING TO MAKE ME OUT AS AN IDIOT DEKU!?" Bakugou coughs angrily as he gets up and leans against the wall. "Deku is the name of a hero now," Deku replied sternly, as he wrapped Bakugou in the capture tape.

"Kacchan has been captured," Ghostfreak Deku said into his earpiece notifying Uraraka. While he floats away Bakugou starts screaming about how Midoriya lied to him for his entire life, but Deku just ignores him and leaves. Uraraka makes it to the room with Iida and starts formulating a plan until Ghostfreak Deku floats up from the ground. Iida notices the symbol on his chest, and says "Midoriya! How bold of you to come alone" as he hasn't noticed Uraraka in the room.

The two then start to fight as Iida rushes and repeatedly tries to kick Deku, but each kick just goes right through him. Deku also tries to get a hit on Iida but his speed makes it so he's able to hit him. During this time Uraraka sneaks past Iida as he's distracted by Deku, and she ends the match by touching the weapon. All Might's voice echoes through the building saying "HERO TEAM WINS!"

Deku times out and says to himself, "I hate how Ghostfreak makes me act..."
