Chapter 16

A month had passed and the
concert is tomorrow already. As I said, I won't attend this concert and I couldn't take back my decision since the tickets are already sold out.

I'm actually fine. I didn't regret my decision.

For a month I went out of social media. I got rid of the posters and all the Astro merchandise in my room. I hid it in my empty cabinet.

But it doesn't mean, I'll quit supporting them. I still love Astro, I will still support them but maybe not to the fullest. The best way to support Astro is by including them in my prayers.

I smiled and fixed my things to school.

I went out of my room and saw my sister writing something. Beside her was a stack of paper.

"Good morning, Unnie!" I greeted her.

"Good morning, Yeodongsaeng. Are you off to school now?" She removed her glasses.

"Ne!" I nodded.

"Oh sorry! I didn't prepare your breakfast, Yeodongsaeng! Can you just buy something in a convenient store or a fast food chain?"

I smiled and nodded at her.

She stood up and got her wallet.
She handed me my daily allowance and gave me an extra for my breakfast.

"Sorry yeodongsaeng! I also can't drop you to your school. I have a lot of paper works to do."

"No problem, Unnie. I can go to school by myself." I kissed her cheek.

"Gotta go!" I waved at her before I went out of our house.

I walked to the waiting shed and waited for the bus. It didn't last long cause the bus arrived 2 minutes later.

I swiped my card and sat at the seat near the window. It will take me 20 minutes before I reach my school so I took out my phone.

I switched on my phone and saw my new wallpaper.

Even if I had already changed it, I could still picture out the last picture I set as an wallpaper here.

It was a picture of MJ that I took while he was driving Unnie's car. It really looked like a boyfriend material picture.

My bestfriend saw it and screamed. She said that it looked like I really took the picture.

She didn't know that I actually took it.

I spent my 20 minutes staring at the window doing nothing at all.
Just thinking about the things I shouldn't think about now.

I did a hiatus in Kpop. I haven't watched Astro for a month now. I don't listen to their songs anymore. I don't scroll through my social media accounts and I haven't heard any update from them. Except about the concert tomorrow.

I went back to my senses when the bus stopped. I'm already at my school.

I stood up and went out of the bus.

As soon as I stepped onto the ground, I saw Jihyo walking lazily just a few meters away from me.

"Jihyo!" I shouted.

She looked at me with confusion and smiled as soon as she realized it was me.

"Oh! Aubrey!" She hugged me.

My eyes widened when I felt her burning.

"Jihyo! Are you sick?" My forehead creased.

She nodded and wiped the beads of sweat in her forehead.
