Chapter 13

"He said, he's coming" I almost whispered.

Hyuna's eyes widened.

"Bo?! Here?!" She asked, panicking.

"Yes." I nodded.

"Wae?! He should not see me here!" She hysterically yelled.

She ran to her room, opened her closet and grabbed her coat.

"I'm going somewhere, just tell him I have an e-emergency." She hastily said like it was a rap line.

She was about to leave her apartment when I grabbed her wrist.

"Y-You don't want to see him?" I stuttered.

"Shiro!" She shook her head. "Please let me go." She attempted to withdraw her wrist but her strength is not enough.

"No, Unnie." I shook my head. "You need to face him now. You need to tell him the truth!" I yelled.

She was startled. Her jaw dropped.

"Listen, Unnie! I don't have a relationship with MJ. I swear I don't have. I just saw him at the park, drunk. I don't want to leave him there so I let him stay in my house and I'm helping him to find you!" I almost lost my breath when I said that.

Her eyes widened.

"He still loves you, Unnie and it's bothering him!"

"Please, just tell him the truth. I don't want to see him worried again." I kneeled down, crying.

"Y-Yah! Aubrey, stand u-up!" She lend her hands to me to help me stand up.

"Yes, I love MJ that's why I'm helping him. So please, just show yourself. Tell him the truth."

"Stand up, Aubrey!" She yelled.

"Please. I'm begging you!"

She gave me a hestitating look. I can see from her eyes that she doesn't want to do it.

I know she's not yet ready but until when?

MJ is desperate. I can sometimes see him crying even if he's asleep and it breaks me. He doesn't talk about the work he abandoned, the Arohas he left hanging and his members whom I know for sure is getting a hard time performing on stage without their main vocalist.

I bit my lips, praying she would say yes.

"Arasso!" She whispered, giving up.

My eyes widened.

"Now get up!" She pulled me up and this time I depended my weight on her.

As soon as I found my balance, I hugged her tightly.

"Gomawo." I whispered.

I felt her heart beat and it's not in normal pace.

"I know you're not ready yet, but you need to face him now. Your guilt will hunt you forever if you're not gonna do this."

I felt a tear on my shoulder.

"It's haunting me everyday and it sucks!"

I pulled out in our hug and I held her hands. It was cold.

I looked at her straight in the eyes. She did the same thing but after a few seconds, she burst out crying. I hugged her again and caressed her back.

I can feel her sorrow. I can feel that the tears she's shedding right now, are the tears she have been holding for a long time.

I let myself be her crying shoulder until a knock made our eyes both widened.

She stopped crying and I help her wipe her tears.
