*Rae's POV*

The last thing I remember was Xylo carrying me up the tower and placing me in bed since I accidentally fell asleep in the middle of the second movie. The next thing I knew I heard a loud bang and jolted straight up. I was confused at first, it was silent for a few more seconds but then she heard more noises. Then all of sudden I heard a deafening and terrifying roar coming from down stairs. It was deep and unnatural, then I heard whatever made that roar started to attack everything. Glass shattering, tables being thrown, books being ripped apart. As scared as I was I got out of my bed, grabbed my staff and slowly moved down the stairs to see what was attacking my home. I moved slowly out of fear that it would find me. Once I got to the bottom of my steps I saw that my home was demolished, almost nothing was spared. I looked around trying to find out what did all of this, but I couldn’t find anything. I was confused now ‘cause even if this thing decided to leave it still couldn’t have gotten far. Then I heard a dark and chilling growl, at first I thought something was behind me but as I turned around to see nothing there. Then I heard it again and this time I looked up and saw something truly terrifying. This creature is like none I have seen before. Its skin was extremely dark purple, its claws were black as night, the body structure seemed to be humanoid and muscular, horns that grew straight up then curved back, his teeth seemed to be black covered in a dark green liquid substance that I can only assume to be venom. But what I found to be the most unsettling were its eyes, it had four of them and they all glowed this dark purple aura that showed no emotion. It then decided to drop itself off of the ceiling and landed on all four, but then stood up towering over me. At first I didn’t know what to do because we both stood still for a minute. Then suddenly it roared  so loud then started to walk towards me. I got so scared so I quickly unsheathed my staff and casted a spell.

Rae: “Ventilabis inimicum tuum

The spell blasted out of my staff pushing the creature that stood before back although not as far as the spell was supposed to do. The creature's eyes showed no emotion but I could feel it’s anger radiating off of his body. It then roared in fury, I got so scared I ran out of my tower then I looked behind me and saw the creature chasing me. I turned around and casted the spell once again.

Rae: “Ventilabis inimicum tuum

It hit the creature pushing it back but once again not as far as it was supposed to do. I didn’t wait for its response, I probably made the dumbest decision in my life, I ran into the woods. I was so scared I wasn't thinking about what could happen to me. I ran as far away as I could. I was far out in the middle of the woods out of breath. Then I heard the snapping sound of twigs. I looked around frantically trying to pinpoint where the sound came from. She slowly backed up until something pulled her up from above. This monster has chased me all the way down like a hungry wolf chasing its prey. It was waiting for me to back up so it could snatch off the ground and into the tree with it. Once again I was forced to look straight into its eyes. But as I looked closer to its face I looked at his left eyes and noticed a scar over one of them and then it finally clicked. I finally figured what or rather who it is.

Rae: “Xylo?” I said in shock.

How could I be so selfish? After the incident with Austin I have done nothing but poured all of my problems onto Xylo. He was there to comfort me when I felt alone, when I felt like nobody cared about me. But he came to me for help and so far I offered none, and now Xylo is paying for my disregard for his condition. Xylo I am sorry for ignoring your problems and putting mine on you. I have to fix this. Then an idea formed in my head, it’s not a hundred percent a guarantee that it will work but I have to try. A few years back I created a spell just in case I end up running into a Mutt Werewolf that can transform them back into their human form. But Xylo’s condition is different so I’m not sure it’ll. Only one way to find out but first I had to get out of his grasp. I started to chant a spell

Rae: “Infernum vocat venti

All of the sudden the wind started to swirl around Xylo then started burning him. He roared in pain as he let me go. Hearing in pain aches my heart but I had to get out of his grasp. Now I needed to subdue him. I pulled out my staff and once again I started chanting.

Rae: “Vincula infernum vocat

Then the ground started to split open as molten hot chains started to wrap all around Xylo. He once again started to roar in agony. I had to hold back my tears from hearing him in so much pain. As I started to point my staff towards him he did something I didn’t expect, he started breaking the chains. I was so shocked that he could break the chains from Hell, but I had to snap out of my shock and hurry before he breaks free. One of the chains broke and he used his free arm to attack in a random direction, he struck a tree and it came tumbling down almost hitting me. I had barely jumped out of the way in time, once I stood up again I quickly pulled out my staff and started chanting.

Rae: “Sol et Luna invoco retro maledicere virtute et forma mutari

A bright green light blasted out of the staff and struck Xylo in the chest. At first nothing happened which terrified me, then all of a sudden he was being engulfed by the green light as it swirled around like a tornado. Then an explosion of green light swallowed my vision followed by a deafening roar by Xylo and finally silence. After I got my vision back from the blinding light I looked where once was a beast now lies Xylo. I hurried and knelt by his side to check his pulse. Thanks to the gods that he’s still alive, after what his body’s been through he could’ve died. I sat beside him for a little bit until I decided I was strong enough to perform my teleportation spell. I grabbed Xylo’s big, muscular, attractive….. Woah woah woah where did those thoughts come from. Any ways I grabbed his arm and teleported us back to my tower. Everything was still a wreck but hopefully with a few spells everything should be back to normal. I layed Xylo on my now shredded couch, and sat at his side. Since the adrenaline subsided I was finally able to relax and gather my thoughts. I just took the time to look at Xylo and just admire his appearance, he looked peaceful at the moment and I couldn’t help but look at his now exposed six pack blush a little. I had to admit he is handsome and very toned. I'm surprised he hasn’t found himself a mate yet. But now a troubling thought went through my mind: how was I gonna help him. The spell may have turned him back the first time, but I can tell that his transformations were only going to get stronger and I don’t know the spell will work the next time he transforms. Which means If Xylo wants to ever return back to his family and friends he needs to find a way to control his inner beast. I need to help him and that’s exactly what I’ll do
