Chapter 10: Returning Home

*Xylo POV*

*3 Weeks later*

After our confession to each other it has been smooth sailing. I still can't believe my Princess loves me too. When we first met I wasn't the most charming guy but she always disagrees with me and I quote said "Ever since I laid eyes on you, I always thought you were the most attractive guy in these woods". Hearing her say that always warms my heart, but back on topic. Rae's been training me how to cast more spells and how to better control my new form. Eventually we found out that I am able to cast some spells without chanting as long as I know the spell, like for example when I learned Chains of Hell, I used to need to chant the spell now I just need to think and wield it. I asked to see if there's a spell that could help me travel easier, luckly with my heritage Rae was able to show me how to shadow travel. Basically I can summom shadows around me to engulf and teleport me to any location as long as I know where I am going. At the moment I am sitting on the couch with Rae laying on my chest with my arms around her watching a movie called Van Helsing and eating popcorn.

Rae: "Where are all the witches at?"

Xylo: "Don't know, and are all werewolves mutts in this movie? 'Cause it seems all of the werewolves are out of control".

Rae: "You know the stereotypes Xylo"

Xylo: "Yeah I know" I said with a pout

Rae: "Aw don't worry you'll always be my Puppy" as she cuddles more into my chest.

I really couldn't stop my heart from pounding HARD. Just as I was about to speak we heard someone knock on the wall down stairs, you know because Rae doesn't have any doors, and we went to check who was knocking. And to my suprise it was Alpha.

Xylo: "ALPHA!" I said in shock

Mario: "Hey Xylo, suprised?"

Xylo: "A little, yeah"

Rae: "Hey Mario"

Alpha was taken back a bit, which is understandable becuase he was used to Rae acting cold and distant. So her acting friendly towards him probably made him think that Rae had a twin sister or something.

Mario: ".... any ways Xylo I hope you're ready to return because we need help and as much as we can get".

Xylo: "What's happening" I said in a serious tone

Me talking like this also took Alpha back a little bit considerin that most of the time even in a serious situation I would still act silly and goofy. So him seeing me like this probably freaked him out a little bit. Then Alpha finally shook his head.

Mario: ".... ANYWAYS we were under attacked by the mutants, we were able to fend off the mutants, barely though"

Xylo: "How many were injured?"

Mario: "Just one, Bryan, he was attacked by a guy carrying a teddy bear strangely"

Rae: "That's Austin, during our first incounter he was carrying a teddy bear as well when he attacked me".

Mario: Yeah, this Austin fellow was furious at Bryan because he ended up ripping the teddy bear's arm when he went to scratch the mutant's arm"

Xylo: "This is one of the weirdiest things I've heard of"

Mario: "You're telling me, any ways are you trained enough to come back"
