Chapter 9: Big Mistake

*Xylo’s POV*

After I heard Rae’s screams I ran through the woods as fast as my legs would allow me. I did not just confess my love for Rae to myself onlt to lose her now. I felt the anger rise in me as I ran even faster and faster. I arrived at the foundation of the tower and once I looked up I couldn’t see them but I could see their life aura which I found out it was actually their souls I could see. So I know now that they’re at the top of the tower. I wasted no time and ran up the stairs. Once I got up there my blood only boiled from what I was seeing. They were holding Rae up by the neck.

Austin: “Where is he Witch”

Ryan: “Answer quickly ‘cause if he doesn’t lose his patient, I will” he said as he pointed at Austin.

Rae: “I won’t…. Tell you….. Anything” as she struggles between words.

Ryan: “Let’s just tear her heart out, we can find him ourselves!” he yells

Austin: “For once I agree” he said as he raises his claws to give the blow until stopped

Ryan: “What?”

Austin: “I smell something”

As they turned around to see what it was they immediately were blasted through the window from my fury. As soon as they were out of the room I went to check on Rae.

Xylo: “Hey Princess are ok, your not too hurt now are you” as I said that Rae just looked at me and smiled

Rae: “I’m alright now Puppy” she said then passed out

I checked Rae to see if she’s really alright, thank the Moon Goddess that she’s ok. I looked out the window to see the two mutants standing outside waiting for me. Once again I found myself furious. I didn’t even take the stairs I just jumped out of the window and met the mutants face to face

Ryan: “So this is where the stray decided to stay, how pitiful” he said in a harsh tone

Xylo: “Why?”

Austin: “Why what? Need to be more specific”

Xylo: “Why are you hunting me? Why does Michael want me dead?” I said in an aggressive tone.

Ryan: “Listen here bastard, we don’t know why he wants you dead. All we know is that he does, and when he gives us orders we follow them”

Xylo: “Why did you hurt Rae” getting even angrier

Ryan: “Simple, becsue she was in the way and she was our best bet to get to you and by the looks of it, it works”

Austin: “Enough of this let’s finish what we started, any last words wolf”

Xylo: “Yeah, What would you like me to write on your gravestone” I said coldly

We all got into a fighting stance, just waiting for one of the others to make a move. Then finally Austin made the first move. He allowed his claws to form and slashed for my head. I ducked and launched a punch to the chest, sending him flying through a tree. Next Ryan swinged his leg towards my chest. I blocked it with both of my arms, but it still ended up making me slide back about 50 feet away. Austin tried to sneak up on me but as soon he tried to jump on me I just grabbed him as he was in midair and threw him at Ryan. Knocking them both into the ground.

Austin: “Enough of this!” he yelled aggressively 

Austin started to transform into his mutant werewolf form and Ryan followed his lead. Great now I had to fight fully transformed mutant werewolves.
