Ricky wanted to say sorry. He got mad at EJ when they were doing a rehearsal and he may have broken his nose. He was completely sorry and it wasn't like him. He followed EJ in the bathroom. EJ had his shirt off because of the blood. He was whipping his nose with a tissue.

"I...I wanted to sorry" Ricky didn't like how his voice sounded so small and weak. He wasn't used to apologizing because he never did anything bad. He was a good kid because his parents taught him morales and respect.

"Just stop! Stop acting like her boyfriend. Nini doesn't want to date anyone, not even me" EJ snapped at Ricky. Ricky lowered his head and stayed silent for a while. Anger was building inside of him. He hated how stupid EJ was. He was acting like a stupid jock.

"Do you even know why we broke up?!" Ricky yelled making EJ turn his head towards him.

"It's because I like boys! Fuck, why are so stupid? Not everything is about Nini!" He tried to calm himself down. He didn't know why he basically outed himself to a jock who could now tell everybody. And he didn't want that. People already think he's gay and he gets called slurs on the daily basis just because he's in theatre. Now he was the stupid one.

He didn't wait for EJ's reaction and left the bathroom.

His chest was feeling in pain as he went in the theater and grabbed his stuff. He couldn't exit the school because of the security so he found the boys locker room and tried to calm himself. He sat on a bench and continued to try to relax himself through breathing in and out. Ricky didn't calm down in time and now he was paying for it. His breathing became less and less as his chest crashed down on itself. Tears fall down his face , flooding his sight. His ears stopped working leaving him clueless from the outside world.

Ricky was to far off and he crying in pain as EJ tried to find him.

A few minutes later Ricky was done and now he was feeling so drained. He outed himself and now he had felt to tired to move.

He stayed in the locker room until he heard the last bell and left. He didn't want to ride the bus or skate. He just wanted to walk and clear his mind. He made sure he didn't run into EJ. He hoped EJ would drop it and leave him alone.

   But he didn't.

EJ kept calling and calling. If he wasn't calling he was texting. Ricky was to tired to answer or to read the texts. He didn't want to be called names again.

He slept through the weekend. And through EJ's texts or phone calls. Ricky seriously thought about changing his number.

He didn't want to go back to school and face EJ or anyone. Ricky knew EJ didn't tell anyone because no one called him names with actual meaning. He was glad he didn't say anything but he didn't want to chance it. He still wanted to avoid the jock so he went to class and left right when the bell rang so he wouldn't have answer any of EJ's questions.

He was walking down the hallway when he was pulled into the boys locker room. He pulled his hand away from the stranger and faced them. He saw EJ looking at him with a small smile trying to show he wasn't going to harm him.

"What do you want?" Ricky asked.

"Nothing. I-" he paused for a moment. "I just wanted to say that your secrets safe with me and I would never tell anyone. I respect you and I'm not that type of person that everyone thinks I am"

Ricky nodded and turned to leave when he felt EJ turn him back around so they faced each other and gave him a hug. The hug was warm and made EJ feel all tingly. Ricky could smell EJ's body wash and it smelt pretty good. He wrapped his arms around him and let his anxiousness subside. He focused on EJ's heartbeat and closed his eyes.

They stayed until the bell rang and they disconnected. Ricky was already missing the warmth of EJ.

They left and didn't talk about the incident. Ricky felt more comfortable around EJ and he would open up to him. He never really had anyone to talk to. He only hung out with Big Red but they never really talked about feelings or other things besides games. It felt good to be able to say whatever was on his mind when he was with EJ.
