He walked to the theater with Big Red. They were smiling and laughing about inside jokes when they ran into Nini. Ricky apologized and basically ran the other way. Ever since they broke up Ricky's been feeling different types of emotions.

His felt like he missed her and at the same time he didn't. He also questioned if he even liked her when they dated.

"Now that everyone's here, we are going to start rehearsing the dance scene after everyone's done stretching" Miss Jenn said. Everyone hummed in response. Ricky started stretching and practicing the dance moves. EJ was watching him which was weird. Big Red was giving him a thumbs up and Ricky smiled. He walked over to Big Red and grabbed his water bottle.

"You're already thirsty after warmups?" Big Red joked.

"Oh shut up" he took a swing of his water.

"Okay. Time to dance" Miss Jenn spoke. She played the song and everyone got into their places. Ricky began counting his steps and started dancing. He had been practicing and was getting the hang of it.

He accidentally stepped the wrong way and Nini tripped over his leg. He tried to help her up, but she yelled at him.

"I'm sorry" Ricky tried to apologize. Nini didn't say anything. She just glared at him and walked off.

Miss Jenn called a break. Ricky walked towards Big Red and sat next to him.

   "What happened?" he asked Ricky.

"I stepped the wrong way" Ricky said in a hushed voice. Ever since they broke up she's been mean. That's not the girl he dated. He was glad Miss Jenn said that rehearsal was over. He wanted to lay down and forget Nini. She's been so judgmental over the smallest things. She always said shit whenever he hit the wrong note or did the dance wrong. She would always would say he didn't deserve to be there.

He worked hard just like everyone else. He deserved to be there just like everyone else. A girl walked up to him with a flyer as he was walking out of school. It said there was a party and had an address. Which was weird, like why would you make flyers. Teachers could find it and all you had to do what tweet the address and teenagers would show.

Ricky needed to feel something other than sadness. He decided to go to the party. Probably a bad idea, but he didn't care. He texted Big Red but he said he wouldn't go because it wasn't his scene. Ricky groaned and tossed his phone on his bed.

He felt tired from all the dancing at rehearsal. He jumped on his bed and dozed off. Ricky woke up to the day being over with. The stars were out and he checked the time. He was a hour late, but it didn't matter. Teenagers at his school could party for hours. Most kids at his school used drugs and other shit as an outlet because most parents pushed there kids to being perfect or the closest thing to it.

He changed his sweater and decided to walk there. He climbed out his window with his phone in his pocket.

He found the house. It wasn't hard to miss. There were kids already drunk on the lawn. Someone was throwing up in the bushes. He walked in and was blasted with the smell of cheap perfumes. He walked by and grabbed a beer from the counter. He drank and drank until he got tipsy.

It seemed to get darker outside. He had to go bathroom so he made his way upstairs. He had no idea whose house this was. He looked around for the bathroom, opening doors until he found it. He closed the door behind him and locked it. Ricky pulled up the toilet seat and went bathroom. He made sure he closed the lid because his mom was always on his case if he left it up.

He went downstairs and drank more. He danced and danced. A girl tried to grind on him but he felt uncomfortable and he felt like throwing up so he went outside. It wasn't because of the girl he just had to much to drink. His nausea went away as soon as the fresh air hit his face. He had an idea; a bad one. He pulled out his phone and called EJ. It went to voicemail.
