YOUR POV

I walk down the castle corridor tired and lifelessly. Tired for the fact that I have tons of castle works to do and Lifeless because I have a new argument with my parents once again, these things just keep on repeating everyday and I am so tired of it. Ever since I agreed to my brother that I'll take the throne instead of him I am stuck with all works, at first I didn't argue with it because I am really determined and I always do works and studies, but as time goes by father just keeps on becoming too controlling and toxic to the point that I don't have any idea who I am anymore.

And after a long time of thinking, I've decided that I'll take my time alone and return once I've collected all my thoughts together. I went to my wardrobe and grab a coat to wear just so at least I can hide my identity from whoever will see me. After wearing it I look at myself in the mirror to see how much I would have to cover my face up. After making sure that the coat I was wearing will convey my identity I slowly walk to the door and opened it.

I was very cautious with my actions as I don't want to get caught by everyone especially my mother and father.

I look over to my right then to the left before walking pass the long hallway which leads to the kitchen, the only place that has a back door with no castle staffs for the moment. I entered the kitchen slowly before double checking if there was indeed no one in here. I sigh in relief once I knew I was all alone. I was about to head outside when I realized that I need to bring at least food with me, so instead of hurrying outside already I grab a string bag that sits on the corner before rummaging around. I manage to find fruits and other more but of course the bag was too small so I just picked the freshest fruits on the pile, before officially heading out.

I managed to exit the castle and now I have to exit the castle grounds, but I guess my luck is just not today because the kitchen might be empty but the castle grounds is completely full of guards and if one caught me the info will immediately reach my parents and they will punish me for sure.

I look over for the safeties place to go through and right now it was the garden of snow, and the reason why it is the safeties out of all the places here is because no one mostly pay attention to it, mostly because it is just a garden but the flower, plants, and trees are completely covered in snow so what can you look at apart from snow?

I run there as fast as I can and luckily no one saw me, even the guards at the tower didn't noticed me. I walk inside the garden and tried to dig a way but neither did I knew there was a gate already. I only noticed it when I've already gone too far.

"Stupid" I cursed myself and walk over to the gate while brushing off the snow that got on me

I opened the gate and I was taken aback, like so much

"The front gate was tightly shut so no unwanted guest can enter but here is the back door at the garden really open ready to welcome intruders how fantastic" I sarcastically remarked at how great is my parents doing their job right now.

I started to walk away and for a second I looked back but then turn my way again

"It's suffocating and I can't breathe, I'll die early if I stay there without a break, I'm doing the right thing" I said assuring myself that everything will be fine

As I walk further the snow I was walking on is getting shallow and shallow every time I walk a meter away, but even though it's like that I shrug it off and didn't mind it at all because I was so dumb to assume that I was still in the land of snow. I keep on walking and walking and I still haven't realized I was walking on pure ice until I heard a sword being casted and a voice of a man follows.

"Who are you" the man questioned and I was scared at that time, not scared because I was on a different land but scared because I thought it was one of our castle guards, yes folks I still thought I was on the land of snow

"I am sorry please forgive me, I won't do this anymore, please spare my life" I blurted out once I turn around and get down on my knees pleading for my life

"What are you doing?" he asked and with that I opened my eyes only to lock gaze with the prince of ice, Lai Guanlin.

I looked over around me and my eyes grew wide knowing that I am doomed and I've totally messed up this time, I did not just left the castle but also entered the territory of the ice people.

I was busy with my own thoughts of dying when the same person who points a sword at me a while ago and now talks again

"Hey I am asking you who are you" he said coldly

"M-me?" I asked and he frowns

"Do I have to repeat it myself or I'll just go slit you neck?" he asked pointing the sword directly at my neck

To be honest I have an advantage here, for the fact that no one knew my look or name apart from the snow people, I can go and disguise anytime but to my dismay, if I stay here longer they might find out who I am in no time. But today I won't die, today I must survive

"I-I don't know" I lied I knew exactly who I am

"What?" he said and his eyes that was giving me a cold gaze slowly softens as he place his sword down

"Bu-but I am Wen Sunhee an-and I am lost" I said trying to act my best

"Your name is awfully weird but since you are lost I'll let you off the hook" he said before placing his sword back to where it was

"Sorry" I said looking anywhere but never his eyes

"Do you have any home?" he asked and as much as I want to look the way I came from and point out at the castle of snow I also want to stay alive.

"I am lost" I said and I can really tell that he was off

"Sorry about that I was really going through something but since you are lost and doesn't have any memories yet stepping on the ice land that must mean you're an ice people which make you one of my responsibilities too, maybe we can get you to the castle until someone claim to know you" he offered but even though he is being kind I want to stay out of trouble

"But" I was about to oppose it but he talked

"Oh please, you are still one of the people I serve for and to make at least one good did today can cheer me up" he said and pity took over me, his eyes look lost and his face are a lot paler unlike earlier, maybe he really is just putting a tough face cause I can see the big difference

"I guess" I replied even though I know it is the dumbest things I've ever did

"Thank you for your cooperation" he said before we make way back to their castle while walking on a new path I've never once crossed to.
