GUANLIN'S POV

Like any other day, I woke up feeling so tired. I know that I should've got used to these routines by now already, since I've been living this kind of lifestyle for the past decades already, but I just can't help but feel tired from everything I was doing. I stood up from my bed then changed to my everyday clothes and fix myself, before heading out of my room to do my tasks for today.

Once I exited my room, I averted my gaze to the left and saw that Sunhee's door to her room was still close, meaning that she was still asleep or doing her own business inside her room. Why do I know this? Well it's because she has this cute habit of leaving her door open when she leaves her room or if she's already awake that I never failed to notice. And as time goes by, I learned to always remember those things for her.

I smiled to myself and turned to my right before walking to where I believe duke Heechul was to be found by this time of the day, the workshop.

Once I arrived in front of the door, I opened it and enter inside closing the door behind me gently, so I won't ruin his focus to whatever he was doing.

"Hyung" I said upon entering inside making him look at me, setting the things he was doing aside.

"Why Prince Guanlin?" he asked while wiping his hands with a cloth

"May I have the list of task I'll have to do today?" I asked and he nodded before giving me a piece of paper where everything I'll have to finish is written

"About those tasks written there, I already read through it and all you have to do is study the things you've forgotten to read through the day you went to the forest and review some mails from the village" he explained and I nodded

I went outside of the workshop leaving duke Heechul all alone to do his own business, before heading my way to the library to take some books to read. While walking, I happen to walk pass Sunhee's door and heave a deep sigh. The sun is up high already, but yet she was still asleep. Maybe our expedition to the village really got her tired. We went to the doctor and got her foot checked and treated, she also played with the kids all day while waiting for me to finish what I have to do and lastly she cried. It must have been too difficult for her to loss her memories and get loss to the forest knowing nothing but her name.

I entered the library and look around the place only to find out, that no one has returned the books I used from the other day. I found the entire books I have to read in the table where I was sitting at that day. No one really paid that much attention to this library, no one takes care of it and no one enters here apart from me and the duke if needed.

I took two books before heading outside, I was supposed to be reading the books on the library but I am not in the mood to be in there, it makes me remind all of the things that I am currently trying to forget. So instead of the library, I decided that I will read the books outside instead, where it's much better to be at.

I walk outside and sat at one of the bench adjusting to the scenery before reading all alone by myself.

YOUR POV

I opened my eyes to a familiar yet unfamiliar room. Familiar because I have been here for the past few days, but unfamiliar because I was still not used to waking up in someone else's room.

I look outside the window only to see that the sun was high up in the sky already making me stood up from my bed in such a hurry that I almost forgot my foot has scars. I calm myself down before I can even hurt myself again because of my clumsiness and slowly walk to the wardrobe. I find some clothes to wear before walking out of my room, leaving the door open.

YOUR OUTFIT

I was walking really slowly since my foot hurts a lot after getting treated yesterday, shouldn't it get better instead?

I was walking really slowly since my foot hurts a lot after getting treated yesterday, shouldn't it get better instead?

But why does it hurt so much.

While walking around the balcony, a person caught my gaze and I am hundred presently sure it was Guanlin. He was reading a book.

I decided to went down and talk to him but I happened to bump to duke Heechul on the way, making me wince in pain when he accidentally stepped on my foot.

"I am so sorry!" he quickly apologized but I told him it was fine

"Why are you in such a hurry sir?" I asked him and he sighed

"It's just that I forgot to tell Guanlin to eat his breakfast first, his being hard on his self these days ever since the wedding and he won't eat unless you tell him so" he said and It gotten me concerned

"Is that so? Will a sandwich and milk do?" I asked him and he smiled at me softly

"As long as he eats" he said

"Then don't worry about it, I'll stop by the dining room and take some food for him to eat. Go back to your chores duke Heechul I got you covered" I said with a smile and he pats my head

"You're a great kid Sunhee, well then thank you" he said before leaving.

I turn around again, since I was in the balcony and the dining room was in the left side of the castle means I have to walk all back to where I came from and head down the castle too.

After retrieving the food, I went down to the castle ground as fast as I can and quietly walk over to Guanlin. He looks at me and immediately stood up before helping me.

"Are you fine already? Why are you out here? Is your foot okay now?" he bombarded me with questions upon arriving

"It still hurts but I'll be fine soon" I said and he sighed

"Then you shouldn't be here you should go rest" he said

"I already have enough rest so I rather join you here than letting you be lonely with an empty stomach" I said and he look at me with a gentle gaze

"Really?" he said and I nodded before sitting beside him

"Go on eat, if you die then no one's going to take care of me anymore" I joked and he chuckled

"Have you eaten?" he asked and I shook my head

"Then I suggest we share" he said and I smiled

"Okay" I said before starting our whole day together, unconsciously enjoying each other's presence

"So why are you outside, instead of reading those books on the library?" I asked and he sighed before sadly looking at me

"I just don't feel like being there, it somehow makes me too sad staying there for too long" he explained

"Oh is that so?" I asked

"Yeah, do you like the library?" he asked and I nodded with a smile

"I don't know why but I found all the books really interesting" I said

"Hmmm okay" he said before going back to reading
