GUANLIN'S POV

It was already night time and I was in my room, after we practiced at the stables nothing much happened.

After I caught Sunhee in my arms and had a little staring contest, we shrug everything off and proceeded to riding and training a horse as if nothing happened. Everything went great actually, Sunhee was very fast to catch up in everything I teach her and in the end the horse was now attached to her making me sometimes want to lock that horse up and never ever show it to her ever again.

When it was dinner everything was also fine but not until Sunhee left, I just got bombarded with questions such as:

Do you like her?

What's your relationship with her?

How's your day together?

Does she make you happy?

Do you love her?

Which left me really shock, and by the end I didn't answer any. Why? Well it's not because I was trying to avoid the topic but rather because I myself don't know the answers to their questions

Do I like her?

What's my relationship with her?

How's my day with her?

Does she make me happy?

Do I love her?

All those questions circled in my mind leading to what no am doing right now.

Awake in the middle of the night lying on my bed while staring at the ceiling.

I sighed, and sit up from my bed. Knowing that my head is too preoccupied from the events earlier I decided to head out my room and clear my mind off by the balcony.

I wear my shoes before going out, as I was about to walk towards the balcony, I was instead welcome by the sight of Sunhee's door wide open, Making me shock and worried. What is she doing outside by this time of the night?

It's really not a good idea to linger outside by this hour, which makes me very anxious. I immediately make my way towards her door to check if she just forgot to close her door, and thankfully I was correct and in fact she's also wide awake.

Curious to why, I knock on her already opened door making her look at me. I went to her which is by the window seat and tried to see what she was looking at, at the middle of the night.

"The village?" I asked and she nod

"It's just really beautiful that's why I was looking at it, also it makes me really calm when my head is filled with thoughts" she said asking the question I was about to ask while still looking outside

"Head filled with thoughts in the middle of the night? Do you want to share some?" I asked before sitting on the window seat with her, now both of us are sitting opposite each other talking face to face.

She sighed before starting "It's just that I'm wondering what could my family be doing right now, that's all nothing big" she said

"Do you miss them?" I asked her, because even though she told me that it's not a big deal, a big amount of sadness and longing is visible on her face.

"I think so" she said unsure but her voice says other wise

"Don't worry I'm sure that one day you'll find them and be with your family too" I said even though deep inside me, I don't want her to go nor her family to find her.

She heaves another deep sigh before looking at me in the eye and gives a sincere smile. She hug her Legs closer to her chest and place her chin on her knees for support before asking a question.

"How about you? Why are you awake by this time of the night?" she asked eyes filled with curiosity

"Well just like you I can't sleep, actually I was planning on heading to the balcony to get fresh air" I explained

"Why did you end up here instead?" She asked, and I smiled

"I was afraid that you're outside because your door is wide open, so I proceed to your room to check if you're still here and luckily you indeed are"

"Will you still go to the balcony?" she asked once more and I shook my head

"I think being here with you is a lot better" I said making her chuckle

"Is that so? Now that I told you why I can't sleep do you want to share something to me too?" she asked ready to listen to whatever I have to say making me smile at her cuteness

"I've just been stuck on the same questions that's all" I said averting my gaze away from her afraid that she can see through me and read what exactly is in my mind

"Which is" she said tilting her head

"If I'm really opening my heart for this girl, as I set Joy go" I said making her froze for a second

"Oh" is all I heard from her before everything went quiet

"Is she living inside the castle?" she asked after the long trance of silence

"Wh-what do you mean?" I asked thinking that she got the hint, but I guess she got it all wrong

"I mean we don't often head to the village, and mostly you're always in the castle so I thought that girl is inside the castle" she said disappointment lacing on her tone of speaking

"I mean she is, but she's not been here for that long" I mumbled

"What?" she asked making my eyes go wide, I didn't know she'll caught a glimpse of what I just said

"Nothing" I said avoiding any possible eye contact

"Okay if you say so" she said giving up a lot easier than what she usually do, is she upset?

Then this means I need to cheer her up

"Do you want to go and visit the village again?" I asked making her eyes sparkle

"Will you allow it?" she asked and I nod

"Of course I will" I said making her smile

"Oh well, I think it's time to go back to bed" I said once I saw her yawn

"I think so too" she said

"I guess, I'll see you tomorrow?" I said and she nodded before I exit her room
