CHAPTER 21: Just Been Days

GUANLIN'S POV

PLAY SONG: 

Now that I knew we're okay, I guess this is the right time to enjoy ourselves

"Do you want to learn how to tame and ride a horse?" I asked which makes her smile at me brightly

"Sure!" She exclaimed before standing up

I face one of the castle guards before giving him orders "kindly ready two horses please" I said and immediately the told guard sets off to the stables, returning with the horse that is very familiar with everyone, the one that I always use, and a new one just for Sunhee.

If you are asking why we have a horse reserved just for Sunhee it's because ever since the day we went to that ice garden i've decided to gave her one, especially after seeing her struggle from all the walking we've done, I become eager to teach her if we have the time, but sadly the village issue occurred.

But now that everything is fine I can finally spend time with her and also teach her.

We approached the horses and hold onto their leashes that the guard just handed so they won't run away from us. Sunhee immediately look so fascinated to her horse that I almost become invisible to her sight.

She only remembered that I was beside her all this time when she realized that she haven't seen this horse before

"Wait, May I ask who own this? Because I don't want to touch anything somebody already owned" she said taking her hands back and away from the horse's hair, making me smile at her innocence

"It's actually for you" I said making her look at me with big doe eyes

"Really?" She asked and I nod

"All yours" I said making her smile and go back to petting the hose

"Does she have a name?" She asked which make me think

"Do horses need names?" I asked cause honestly I haven't name any horse, even the horse I owned is nameless

"Of course! Then how are we supposed to call them!" She said looking very offended but in a cute way

"But I just call mine horse" I said and she pointed

"Here I thought this horse has a name but you just call him horse like everybody else?! He must've been so sad!" She scolded before petting my horse too

I don't know if she's just joking about scolding me or she really is upset but either way it makes me really happy

"Then what she'll I name him then?" I asked and she thinks

"Flakes?" She said making me react really fast

"And why?" I asked making her point to the horse's body

"It has a beautiful marking that matches with a beautiful pattern, somehow it makes me remember ice flakes" she explained and she was not wrong, I don't know how my horse got those marks or where he did but all I know is that he had those ever since the day I had him.

"Well, its a really pretty name so I guess flakes it is?" I said and she nod happily

"What about yours what would you name her?" I asked and I didn't expect to get an immediate answer but as the question rolled out of my mouth she answered fast

"Snow!" She said making me shock,

Out of all names she chooses snow.

"Why snow?" I asked with furrowed eyebrows

"Because it's pure white, it's just that it reminds me of snow" she explained but it got me more curious to why she picked snow

"Have you seen snow?" I asked and she stopped moving

"I-I mean I was lost in the forest where the barrier of ice and snow was located so I happen to see what snow looks like" she explained which makes sense

Even though the name choice is weird I let it pass, why? Because all I want is her to be happy nothing more nothing less.

"Snow it is" I said with a sigh before smiling to her

"Should we start the lesson?" I asked and she nods

I looked around and to no avail, all the guards have already left and went to their post, also I see no stool she can step on to help him mount the horse cause believe me or not truth be told she's not that tall, but at the same time I never did hate it.

"Is it okay if like, I hold into your waist or anything like that?" I asked with my face flush red, but since she was busy admiring her horse she just nod without sparing me a single look.

I make sure my horse is calm before letting go of his leash and head towards where Sunhee was standing. I kneel on the ground and offer my hands that she can step on, at first she

was hesitant but after I gave her a assuring smile, she heave a deep breath before stepping on my hands and holding onto my shoulder for support so she won't fall. Everything was fine but I guess I spoke too soon, because just as Sunhee was about to mount the horse it moved away making Sunhee lost her balance and knowing she'll fall on the hard ground I went for it and grab her by the waist making sure she has a balance stance.

She was very surprise but it didn't stop us from having an eye contact, that might have been sent me a heart attack

GUANLIN'S FATHER'S POV

I was currently in the balcony of my room chilling when I saw two love birds at the stables looking so lovely

"Kids these days" I said making Heechul look at me confused

"What do you mean?" He asked walking from my desk to the balcony now standing next to me

"See those two?" I said before pointing at Guanlin and Sunhee

"Those is what I mean" I said finishing my sentence

"I could see very well that somehow Guanlin put a liking to Sunhee already" Heechul commented and honestly I can very much agree

"It's good to know that he don't feel that sad anymore, I am very much thankful that Sunhee showed up" I said making Heechul nod

Thanks to you Sunhee I can see my son smile brightly again...

AUTHOR'S POV

Meanwhile at the Snow kingdom, everyone is in panic. It has been days ever since Sunhee was missing and no one knows what to do.

Sunhee is very dear to everyone so having her missing is surely making everyone worried specially her brother Jun

"Mother have they found her yet?!" He asked for the hundred time today, and do take note that it's just morning

That's how much he love his sister, no matter what time, what date or what year, he will never stop asking until he meet her again. He cannot handle losing her.

"No Jun, and I don't know what to do anymore" their mother replied also being stressed and close to crying

While they are in a conversation a castle guard enters the throne room making Jun and their parents look up in hope its good news but sadly,

"Your majesty still no signs of the Princess" he said making Jun sigh in frustration,

"We've searched the whole village and castle for the 4th time already, are you really sure she's still in our territory?" He asked their father

"She will never cross the border, she will never ever will, that's the first thing I've ever thought you both and I know she will never broke the rules I set for her" he said voice raising every time a word spat out from his mouth

"Search the village again, this time even the forests! Only return if you have good news to tell!" He ordered and immediately the guard run out of the throne room.

Everything is a mess, and it has just been days
