After our tour and short talk on the balcony I head back to my room as Guanlin head back to the library to do his castle tasks that he almost forgotten ever since he found me in the forest.
When I went back to my room all I was left to do is stare out the window and get back to my cycle of thoughts.
Same things, same names, same ways, and same questions. Everything seems to repeat itself over and over again.
Will I die? Will my father see his mistakes? Will my mother miss me? Will my brother be worried? Will the castle guards look for me? Will our people be in shock? Will I be free once I came back? Will I ever come back though....
I was so deep in thoughts that can drown me that I didn't notice I've already slept. I only woke up when I heard my name being called. I opened my eyes and take time to adjust at the lighting before focusing at the person calling my name
"Sunhee are you awake now?" Once I set my gaze to the person calling me, I immediately recognized her.
"Yeri? What's wrong?" I asked and she shook her head
"No, nothing's wrong I just came here to wake you up and tell you dinner is ready" she said and I nodded before stretching, but before I can do so I feel my neck at pain already making me groan
"Are you okay!?" she asked as she immediately take action and look for any injuries
"No I'm fine, it's just that my neck hurts because of sleeping in such a position" I said holding my neck to at least sooth the pain
"You know what? Stay here I'll grab a medicine" she said and I sighed
"No it's fine really" I insisted
"Nope it's not fine, you are not going anywhere until I know you are fine" she insisted before leaving the room even before I can speak up, I sighed and let her be
I was all alone doing nothing but to get lose at my thoughts once again for good damn 5 minutes until she came back with tons of medicine, I look at her shock and she just smiled.
"You're not going to use all of this in me right?" I asked, because I might get overdosed if I do so
"No idiot, I just brought it here cause I have no time reading names and let you stay here alone knowing you might escape and leave your room and eat dinner with a hurting neck" she said before searching the bottles
"You really are good with nagging" I said and she smiled
"Mother instincts I guess" she said and I smiled once she found the medicine
"Okay turn around" she said and I did what I was told
I can't see what she was doing but soon I felt a cold sensation by my neck, she massages it for a while before telling me to turn back around again
"Is it done?" I asked and she nodded
"What was that?" I asked once again
"That was a mixture of some liquid and mint" she said and I nodded
"So now that you are fine, let's go to the dining room before prince Guanlin came here himself and drag you out" she joked but I took it too seriously
"He'll really drag me?" I asked and she looked at me holding herself from laughing
"You are beautiful and smart but really naïve, I was just joking" she said and I just 'oh' in response
Soon we reached the dining room and eyes turns to us
"Ah finally she's here" the king said before smiling at me with a look I can't read, is he annoyed or happy
"Is that a good thing or not?" I whispered and Yeri chuckled
"Don't worry the king isn't mad he really is a great man so don't be scared, I need to leave you here and go back to my task, bye" she assured and bid goodbyes
"Bye" I said before she left
Being scared even Yeri assured everything will be fine I slowly walk to the table and bowed to the people in there.
"Sorry if I was late" I apologized and I heard the king chuckled
"It's fine dear, don't think about it too much just take your seat and eat with us" he said and I nodded before sitting beside Guanlin
While we were eating another man burst inside the room and the three of us looked at him
"Sorry if I was lat- who is she?" the guy said looking at me
"Oh her? Well Guanlin found her in the woods" the king said
"Really? Why though do you like her Guanlin" the guys said as he approached the table and Guanlin choked, I patted his back before giving him water
"Yah! I took her in because she was in a very uneasy situation okay" Guanlin said defending him self
"Oh sure kindly explain" that guy said in a teasing tone
"I just found her wondering in the woods, she forget her memories and doesn't know where to go and since she is and ice people I took her in and decided she'll be living here until her relatives claim her" Guanlin explained and that guy who teased him look at me softly
"Well I am very sorry with my manner, I am Duke Heechul and you are?" he asked looking at me
"Wen Sunhee" I said before looking down
"Your surname is awfully weird" he said and here it goes again
"I also think so but just shrug it off she's just an innocent lady who don't know what is going on, okay?" Guanlin said, at least he defended me before I get interrogated
"But not going to lie though, she is a really pretty kid" Duke Heechul complimented and I blushed
"And surprisingly she is a lot prettier than Joy" He said and for the second time of the day someone say I was prettier than Joy and again for the second time of the day Guanlin choked
"No one speeks of her in this castle" Guanlin said sternly and I was taken a back, but decided not to ask anything
We continued to eat as the three talk matters that I don't even know
