A Reveal (Ford P.O.V)

Somewhere just outside of my focus, my brain registered the sound of the elevator. "Grunkle Ford! Grunkle Ford!" Dipper's distressed voice fully broke my concentration, pulling me away from my project. "Dipper? What is it, Can't you see I'm a little bit busy?" I grumbled, I never liked to be pulled out of work without warning. "I figured out where Toby lives! It's this huuuuugggeee mansion-house thing in the middle of the woods, as soon as I saw it I rushed back here to tell you." Dipper's panicked/excited voice was difficult to understand, "Dipper, what did I tell you about doing things without telling me first? Don't get me wrong I am proud, you're just not prepared yet." I lectured him. "Ford I helped to defeat Bill! I-" "Alright, I'm ready. Let's go." I interrupted him, tired of hearing this argument. "Wh-what?" Dipper asked surprised, "well, I'm guessing you told me so that we could investigate. Right?" "Y-yeah I guess I did".

We had arrived at the 'house' and despite its size and seeming luxury, it was in bad shape. Dents, slashes, and stains were present on the outside. One could only wonder about the condition inside. I cocked my stun/laser gun hybrid, a old creation of mine which I thought could come in handy for this mission. Gently I approached the door, pushing Dipper behind me and reaching out. I took the handle and slowly turned it... Then I threw the door open pointing my gun in, catching three people standing the room by surprise. I recognized Toby, but the two girls standing on either side of him were mysteries (ha). "Hands up," I commanded, aiming at one of the girls, who had blonde hair and green eyes and looked calm at first but after seeing us she looked utterly terrified. The other girl who had orangey-blonde hair and a beanie on slowly started to shuffle around to the door, and put her hands up. I aimed at her, and she stopped. "D-don't shoot, not in front of the kid." She pleaded, looking to Dipper behind me. I moved and put myself in the way of her line of sight. Turning the gun back to the green eyed girl. That's when the orangey-blonde haired girl spoke again, "Kid, you really should leave. There is no need for you to be exposed to something like this" "shut up" I told her. That's when Toby finally spoke "w-well, this is ju-ust wond-derful" and he started to reach for something behind him. That's when I shot, hitting the green eyes girl square in the chest. Sparks flew around her as she fell to the ground, I heard the other two yell "CARLY!" Before I aimed at Toby. I knew full well that I couldn't leave them here. "Dipper grab 'Carly'" I commanded rushing Toby and grabbing him, tying his hands behind his back with rope and gagging him. I then turned, looking for the other girl. But, she was no where to be seen. And so I knew we had to kick it into high gear and get out. "Let's move," I assisted Dipper as best as I could in holding Carly, as Toby was surprisingly light. I just hope that the orange-blonde haired girl doesn't contact any sort of authority, I can't get into anymore trouble with the law. Even if I was kidnapping....but it was for the greater good! Something is suspicious and we need to figure it out.
