Finally...But?...(Toby and Carly P.O.V)

Silently I approached the man who had kidnapped me and Carly, balling up my fists. I know that Mabel wouldn't want me to hurt him too bad. But he will pay. Grabbing onto the back of the chair I turned it around quickly taking him by complete surprise. He went to say something but Carly was quicker, "I can totally believe you fell for that" she spat bitterly. That's when I swung, hitting his temple and knocking him out of his chair. I couldn't tell if he was unconscious, but I wasn't wasting any time. I darted down and grabbed my hatchets, speed walking to Carly I cut the rope so she was free. She quickly stands up and we both sprint to the elevator. Carly rapidly presses the open button, and it does, painfully slow. As soon as it was open enough we both slip in and Carly starts repeatedly pressing the up then close door. As the doors starting closing, I could see him get up. And reach for a weapon concealed in his coat. Then the doors shut. Carly stopped pressing the buttons and looked at me. A relieved smile on her face, I could only guess mine was similar. "Thank-ks, without you and Mabel we-I never-r would have got-tten out." She thanks me, it was probably one of the most sincere thanks I've ever gotten. "N-No prob-blem. Not like I could-d leave you b-behind!" I joked, the ding of the elevator cutting Carly off from speaking. The doors opened to the sight of a Dipper being attacked by Waddles, "c'mon!" Mabel waved her arm to get us to go. We dashed out the door and towards the forest. The air of outside has never smelled so sweet as we continued to travel. As we got around half way to the Mansion, I stopped the group. Turning to Mabel I smiled, "Thank-k you. Wit-thout you I don't-t know what woul-ld've happened..." I was at a loss of words when Carly stepped in. "Yeah. Seriousl-ly thank-k you. Here." Out of nowhere Carly made a little pink top hat, and placed it in Mabel's hands. Mabel looked momentarily surprised, staring down at the object. Then she grinned at us. "It's no biggie guys, I'm just happy I could help!" "Thank-ks on-nce again...but-t you should be g-going! It-t's not exactly safe.." I explain, nudging her gently. She waves happily and says that she'll see us soon. She leaves. And me and Carly continue to walk, a slightly uncomfortable silence taking both of us by surprise.

Carly P.O.V
We started to walk deeper into the forest, relieved that we got out of there 'h-hey, sor-ry for dragging-g you i-into th-is" toby muttered "its-s ok Toby, it happens to most of us, I'll help you if you need it" I smiled, he saved my butt more than once, I can return the favour by helping him with this. We continued on the winding path making jokes along the way. We open the door to an immediate hug from the small ben who was talking so fast I couldn't understand what he was saying. I calmed him down saying that 'Ford' didn't do anything to harm me. He calms down and goes back to his room to continue playing animal crossing. I look around to discover that amber wasn't there. The fact hit me like a bullet. She was still at the shack. Oh god no. I Sprint out the door toward the shack. I needed to get to her before ford got to her first.
