Safety! (Mabel P.O.V)

Ever since Ford put up the force-field I thought it would be quiet. So hearing loud aggressive voices surprised me. I wandered over confusedly, eyes locking on a familiar face. "Toby!" I yelled without thinking, dashing towards him. Only to be stopped by the barrier smashing into me. "Oh i'm so glad to see you!" I gush, "I'm-m hap-ppy to s-see you as w-well" Toby agreed smiling. I could see his face because his mouth guard was off, but his goggles were on. My gaze was grabbed by Ford, who was glaring at me. I knew he wasn't happy about me and Toby. but I really did like him.  I looked back to Toby as an slightly familiar soft voice chimed up. "Please help us Mabel, he's being unreasonable" I now remember her to be Amber. I heard the gentle intake of breath behind me, but I beat Ford to speaking. "Please Ford, you heard her. I know that they don't want to ask you for help. They don't have a choice..." I activated my puppy dog eyes,  "We have to take them all in as well, Toby would be sad if we didn't." Ford sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. "Fine. but as a ground rule, no murdering or harming anyone once inside. Unless it's Bill of course." I step back excitedly, and swipes his hand across the force field. A gap appeared big enough for them to pas through, so they started walking in. Toby began and walked in first, followed by Masky. Amber was just about to enter when a flash of yellow light alerted Carly who was at the back. She turned around quickly and pushed Amber who fell onto one I didn't recognize who was wearing a mask who pushed Toby so that he didn't fall on top of him. They all tumbled into the range of the field and the slit started to close. Bill started to float towards me and I panicked for a moment. Would he get in? Then the field closed. And I sighed, I turned around to our new friends. And of course Toby.
"So Sixer, let's make deal. "If you give me the Proxies. I'll spare you and all the rest of the Pines." My head snapped towards bill, and once again I interrupted Ford. "'aH heLL NAw!" I screeched. I wasn't letting Bill have Toby or any of his friends. "I have to agree with Mabel." Ford states, "as much as I don't like it" Bill had made his way to as close as he could get. Then something very weird happened, even for Bill. He turned into a human, one wearing a back triangle eye patch and a yellow suit thing. But before I could fully comprehend what happened, he slammed his hands against the field. The whole thing shook and his face contorted to that of pure anger. Small movement out of the corner of my eye showed Amber looking terrified and shuffling backwards. "I swear. I'm going to get PointDexter and everyone else. Somehow." Bill's voice was still the same, it was weird hearing it come from a human. I got unpleasant flashbacks to Bipper. Just as quickly he appeared, he disappeared. I looked at the group or near strangers, all but Amber had stood up. She seemed content on the floor, the one I didn't recognize's shoulders relaxed slightly. "Thank you, Ford." He nodded in Ford's direction. Clearly Ford didn't think they had feelings, because he looked surprised that he was thanked. "Thank you. And thank you Carly, we might've been toast had you not have pushed us!" Amber added on. Ford looked a little more confused, "no problemo." Carly answered evenly. Ford shook his head gently then walked to the shack and entered. Carly trails after him, and when she opens the door I catch a glimpse of Grunckle Stan and Ford taking. Grunckle looks at Carly then seems to get angry. I could hear his voice from were I was standing, "WHY DID YOU HAVE TO DEBATE TO SAVE CHILDREN!" I follow in the first two's lead and enter the shack. Ford looked even more confused and surprised, I knew that Grunckle Stan would be on our side! Disputes him denying it, he loves kiddos and wants to protect them. "Thank you." Carly told Stan, Ford goes quiet and just goes to the basement. Carly in tow. Now that everything is okay here, I need to know what happened to Toby! I found him awkwardly lounging in the living room, I went and sat beside him. "So...what happened?" I ask him, looking at Toby with concern. "W-well, I'm not even-n sure. Bill poss-possessed almost-t all-l-l of my friends, the ones w-who aren't p-possessed ar-re here wit-th me." He shrugs, but I can tell this whole thing is weighing on him. I put a hand on his arm, and he flinches. But he doesn't make a move to remove it.  "H-he's pr-rob-bly was coming f-for us next-t..."
