The next month was spent with both Mew and Gulf having several conversations online and through phone calls. They would talk for hours on end about everything and anything. It was fun and they were enjoying themselves. But at last the summer was over and school was resuming again.
It was the night after gulf was to go back to Bangkok the next day. He was lying in bed, as he had his now routine phone call with Mew every evening. The past month gulf had yet to answer Mews request for a date, bit now he was ready to give the man an answer. They had been talking back and forth about some new TV show for over forty minutes.
"So I really think he could be smart enough to know his wife brother is her son" said Mew smiling on the other end of the line. When Gulf said yes out if the blue.
"Yes" he said. "Yes? To what? " asked Mew.
"I will go on a date with you when I get back to Bangkok, but of course I have to settle down first, and set a date we will both be free" said Gulf nervously.
Mew was beyond happy on hearing this news. And he could not wait to take Gulf on a date to one of his favorite restaurant in the city.
"I would love that, and any time you choose will be fine by me. " said Mew.
Smiling " well it's late and I have an early flight tomorrow, this is goodnight then "said Gulf.
"Goodnight gulf, see you soon, " said mew grining from ear to ear on the other end.
That night both men went to bed more happier than they started the day with.
Gulf arrived at his dorm the next day to find Champ already they, they exchanged greetings and chatted as they put their things away, then they went to buy dinner at a small eatery close to their dorm room. The day was spent by the time gulf remembered he had not yet called Mew ,and tell him he had arrived safely in Bangkok, after he called his parents. So he decided to take a shower and change into his sleeping wear before going to bed. When he came xout of the shower, Champ was already fast asleep .
He got on his bed, lying on his back, he rang up Mew........ Ringing......
"Hello Gulf" the man on the other end answered in a cheerful voice. Gulf could tell the man was smiling on the other end. And the way Mew said his name with his deep smooth voice, that made him fell warmth in his chest, was amazing. He could not wait to see the man in person again.
