The window of a certain Flash Thompson's bedroom opened very slowly as a shadowy figure crept inside under the shadow of the night. Flash lay sleeping in his bed peacefully with plans of messing with Peter Parker dancing through his head. The Black Cat saw her target, the cellphone that lay charging on his nightstand.

She took notice of his lifestyle, everything in his room screamed expensive. There were collectible action figures that she would guess would be worth thousands of dollars, an Apple Watch charging on the night stand next to an Apple iPhone 11. As she examined further she could see that his room was filled with many little gems that would make her a small fortune, and Flash was a person who really needed a lesson taught to.

She tip-toed across the floor to his bedside and took his phone off charge and with a simple trick she was able to get past the security, "Not as good as the Stark Phone range," she thought to herself as she went to the gallery and found the photograph of Peter Parker and her in the coffee house earlier that day. She knew what she was about to do was wrong, but all is fair in love and war. Black Cat hit share and posted it to all of Flash Thompson's social media accounts exposing Peter Parker as a cheat.

"Now to punish Flash for pissing me off all the time and for his bullying," thinks Black Cat to herself as she sets the phone down and opens her backpack placing the action figures, laptop, iPad, jewelry and watches into it. "Oh Flash what bad luck you have," mutters Black Cat to herself as she zips the bag up and dives out of the large apartment building shooting her grappling gun and disappearing into the night.

Not long after her visit to Flash Thompson's house Michelle clambered into her room at one in the morning and placed her backpack into the back of her closet. She took off her mask allowing her hair to transform back to it's normal brown color and slipped out of her catsuit and threw it into her closet closing the door.

She unhooked her bra and was about to take off her panties to change when she heard a voice from her window, "Hey Michelle can we talk?" Michelle looks over her shoulder to see Spider-Man crawling through her window. The moment their eyes meet, or in this case his mask lenses, he instantly covers his eyes, "Oh my god Michelle I am so sorry I swear I am not a pervert." Michelle is quick to grab her bathrobe and pulls it on covering her body, "How is it that anytime you come to visit me I am getting undressed?" she asked with amusement in her voice. "I think it's just poor timing on my part," says Peter as his mask retracts into his armor. "Flash posted that photo of us in the coffee house about a half-hour ago," says Peter as he sits down on Michelle's bed looking forlorn, "My relationship with Cindy is over. Once she sees that she's gonna hate me forever."

"So you come to me...the girl who you are being accused for cheating on Cindy with?" questioned Michelle as she sat down next to him, "I have to question your logic." Peter gave a dry sort of chuckle but it didn't last long. "I deserve this though," said Peter as he looked at Michelle, "I don't deserve to have happiness in my life."

"Okay I think you are over reacting," said Michelle as she stood up from the bed and leaned against her desk  so she was directly across from Peter. "No I am not over reacting. Think about it Michelle. My parents died when I was seven, my uncle dies in my arms when I was fifteen, my mentor and father figure fucking dies saving the universe and I watched so many people die everyday in New York because Spider-Man wasn't fast enough or good enough to save them. How do I deserve happiness when I am the soul cause of so much pain!" says Peter as he buries his face into his hands.

Michelle watches him with uncertainty, this is the first time that she has actually seen the vulnerable side of Peter, he never usually lets anyone see this side...not even Ned Leeds has seen him this vulnerable. "Peter...all that you just said is exactly why you deserve happiness," says Michelle  as she approaches him and grabs his chin to make him look her in the eyes, "You have suffered more than anyone I have ever known. The universe has taken more from you than it has given. It owes you something huge...and I think that what it owes you is that happiness that you have always wanted."

"Thank you Michelle...that means a lot," says Peter as he cups her cheek. "MJ," says Michelle as she places her hand over the one he has placed on her cheek. "What?" asks Peter confused. "My friends call me MJ. And you are my only friend," says Michelle softly.

A comfortable silence falls between them where they simply look into each others eyes, it is as if they are communicating a message of understanding with their souls. After a few minutes the sounds of sirens break them from their world of isolation. Peter stands and Michelle watches as he approaches the window he looks back one more time. "Go get 'em tiger," says Michelle with a smirk on her face. "Oh you know I will," says Peter as his helmet forms around his head and he jumps from the building swinging off into the night.

The next morning Michelle walks into Midtown with a smile on her face as she cannot stop thinking about how far she had come with Peter in one night. They had basically declared that they were now friends, and she was able to comfort him in his moment of weakness. That to her was a win, but as she walked the halls of Midtown she notices that they are basically empty, a first for Midtown at this time of day.

Ned is seen rushing past Michelle without even noticing her, he is running, he never runs anywhere unless it is something to do with Lego's, Movies or..."Peter," whispered Michelle as she ran in the direction that Ned was heading. It didn't take long for her to find a large crowd congregated in one of the more isolated corridors in the school, this is where typically fights occur because no teachers would go there before school or after.

Michelle pushed her way through the crowd to see Peter on all fours as Flash stood over him, "YOU CHEATING, LYING, THIEVING BASTARD!!" roared Flash as he kicked Peter in the gut and sent him crashing into the lockers making a small dent in the metal. "YOU CHEATED ON MOON, THEN YOU BREAK INTO MY HOUSE AND STEAL MY SHIT WHILE I SLEPT!" bellowed Flash as he kicked Peter again in the stomach making Peter gasp and gag as if he were about to throw up, "I-I n-never s-stole...N-Never...C-Cheated."

"LIAR!" roared Flash as he was about to throw a punch at Peter's head. Michelle had enough, "STOP IT YOU PUNK AS MOTHER FUCKER!" she yelled as she broke free from the crowd and approached Flash pointing at him, "YOU FUCKING PROVE THAT PETER WAS IN YOUR FUCKING HOUSE! SHOW ME A FUCKING SHRED OF EVIDENCE YOU BITCH!"

"Wow got your side bitch standing up for you Parker. Fucking pathetic," snarls Flash as he punches Michelle making her fall back on her ass, the crowd gasps at his actions. Michelle is about to hit Flash when a voice roars, "EUGENE!" They all look in shock as the weak, pathetic nerd of Midtown High stands tall and grabs Flash by the throat and raises him into the air with one hand, "You can hurt me all you want...but you will never hurt my friends." Flash grasps at Peter's hand as his head turns purple from lack of oxygen. "Now leave me and everyone else alone or I will kill you next time," says Peter as he drops Flash to the ground leaving him a mess. Peter looks to the crowd of students angrily, "Anyone else got a problem with my friends?" Within seconds everyone dispersed leaving a gasping Flash, a stammering Ned, a flabergasted Michelle and a pissed of Cindy Moon.

"I hope you know we are done," says Cindy as she walks away. "I AM FUCKING GLAD," yelled Peter after her. "Peter are you okay man?' asked Ned as he placed a hand on his best friend's shoulder in comfort. "Yeah Ned I just need to go home," says Peter as he, Ned and Michelle leave the corridor. The only thing left is Flash laying on his back gasping for air after Peter's unexpected offence.

One thing was certain Michelle and Peter had somehow formed a new bond to each other, and whilst it is still unknown to them both what kind of bond that it is, it is purely undeniable that they both have a strong connection.
