"Man of Spiders are you alright?" asked Thor as Spider-Man walked into the Avengers Compound. Spider-Man ignored the God of Thunder and walked past him as if he were not there. "Have I offended you in some way?" asked Thor as he attempted to follow the Spider themed teen. "No now goodbye," said Spider-Man as he jumped onto the ceiling and crawled into the vent to escape the Asgardian. Clint watched the whole exchange with a raised eyebrow of confusion, "Okay is it me or is Spider-Man acting stranger than usual?"

"I agree," said Bucky as he entered the compound, "I saw him outside and he seemed pretty off, even for Spider-Man." The three heroes looked at each other all pondering what could be going on with the young arachnid. "Maybe we should ask him if  he is okay?" suggested Clint. "Yeah and while we're at it why don't we offer him a big hug," snapped back Bucky with sarcasm dripping from his tone. "Oh and you know so much about emotions mister Winter Soldier!" snapped Clint.

"What are you two idiots arguing about now?" asked Scott Lang as he entered the common area followed by his daughter (Cassie) and his wife Hope Lang. "Yeah what are you two jumping down each other's throats over?" asked Hope as she crossed her arms glaring at them. "Spider-Man is acting weird and we think he might be having a rough day so we were discussing the best way to get him to talk to us about it," answered Clint while glaring at Bucky.

"Why don't you talk to him daddy?" suggested Cassie, "I mean he does come over to our place a lot just to talk to you." Clint, Bucky and Thor looked at the Lang family with wide eyes, "YOU KNOW WHO SPIDER-MAN IS!?" they yelled in unison. "Yeah. He's a good guy," says Scott with a shrug. "How did you find out who he is?" asked Bucky. "He told me," said Scott as he sat down on the couch and picked up the news paper.

"You have to tell us who he is," says Clint as he sits down next to Scott taking the news paper out of his hand and tossing it away. "You are not leaving this room until you tell us," says Bucky as he stands in front of Scott with crossed arms. "You did not just threaten my husband," snarled Hope. "Don't worry I got this," says Scott  as he stands up glaring at Bucky. Scott tapped on the face plate of his watch and in seconds his body was covered in nano-tech which then formed an Ant-Man suit.

"Now you're in trouble," says Cassie with a smirk. Scott punches Bucky in the mouth and round-house kicks Clint in the jaw knocking him off the seat. He grabs a small disc from his belt and throws it at Bucky making him shrink down to the size of a small doll. He turns and faces Clint and does the same thing. Scott grabs the two pint-sized heroes and holds them up to his eye level, "Now listen here you inconsiderate assholes. Spider-Man is like a son to me and I will not have you try and disrespect his wishes by trying to figure out his identity. Now those discs will ware off in roughly an hour so I suggest you stay here unless you want to me eaten by cats." Scott sets down Bucky and Clint on the coffee table. "Impressive fighting Man of Ants!" said Thor as he clapped his hands joyfully at Scott's physical display.

"Uh thanks Thor," says Scott as his helmet retracts into his suit. "You go talk to Spider-Man dad and we will keep an eye on these two idiots," says Cassie as she glares at the two men who threatened her father. "I shall also remain to guard over the foolish men," boomed Thor as he ruffled Cassie's hair. "Ugh my hair!" whined Cassie.

Peter sat in his room laying on his bed staring at the rules that Black Cat had sent him. They actually weren't as bad as he was expecting.

Rule 1: Always answer this phone

Rule 2: Tell me I look hot AF

Rule 3: Do not disrespect me

Rule 4: Always call me Mistress or Cat

Rule 5: Accept punishments without complaint

All in all the rules that the Black Cat had put in place seemed pretty easy to follow and were simplistic to say the least. But before he went any further than this he would need to talk to Ned, Michelle, May, Happy and Scott about it before he could make an informed decision.

There was a knock on his door and he made sure his mask was on before going and opening it, he was surprised to see Scott Lang suited up in his Ant-Man nano-tech suit, "Uh Scott what are you doing in the suit? I didn't know you had any missions lately." Scott shook his head, "Nah just had to deal with Buck and Clint. Idiots wanted me to give up your identity." Peter gulped under his mask, "And did you?" Scot crossed his arms, "No I didn't seriously give me some credit kiddo."

"Sorry Scott I didn't mean it like that," said Spider-Man as he stepped aside allowing Scott to enter his room. The door closed automatically as he entered and the pair took this opportunity to take off their respective nano-tech armors and sit down to talk. "Peter something is bothering you and I want to know what it is. So please just trust me and tel me what's wrong," says Scott softly as he places a comforting hand on Peter's shoulder.

"Black Cat resurfaced today and she made a demand in exchange to protect my identity," said Peter as he looked towards the discarded flip-phone on the bed, "She says she wants me to serve her, basically like a pet. But I don't know what to do. Do I play along to make sure it doesn't get leaked to the world? Do I get ahead of her and do it myself so she has nothing over me? Or do I fight her and try to get her to back down? I have no idea what to do Scott and it's killing me!"

"Wow this is way bigger than I expected," said Scott as he stood up and began pacing, "She does have the upper hand here there is no denying that, but your options aren't all exactly perfect either. If you were to reveal your identity to the world yourself then you would also need to deal with the fact that your entire private life will be decimated and under view from the press and even potential villains, if you were to fight her then you would risk her blowing the whistle on your identity with whatever proof that she has on Peter Parker and Spider-Man. I think the best option is to play along for now and I will have Bruce and Strange try and track her to figure out who she really is, that way we can level the playing field."

"What do you mean level the playing field?" asked Peter as he watched Scott pacing. "Well she has your identity which has put you in a difficult situation. But if you have hers then you can threaten her with her own identity being exposed. That way she will back off and leave you alone. So if she releases your identity then you would be able to release hers. See what I mean now?" answered Scott as he looked at Peter with a smirk.

"Okay," says Peter, "I'll play along with her games for now. You sure you can trust Bruce with my identity though?" asked Peter with a glance at Scott. "Peter I would trust Bruce with my life. Plus Strange already knows who you are. Those other idiots I wouldn't exactly trust with something as valuable as an egg never mind a secret identity," responded Scott with a smile, "Look I got your back Pete. I always will."

Peter stood up and hugged Scott, "Thanks Dad." Scott choked up a little when Peter said this but he didn't say a word and hugged back the boy who was basically his son.
