Peter lay on his bed at the Avengers Compound staring up at the ceiling in contemplation, everything that the Black Cat had said earlier in the day was correct, he was attracted to her and he did think she looked amazing in her catsuit but he knew he could not get involved with a girl like the Black Cat...as fun as it would be to have a no strings attached relationship; he just isn't that kind of guy, plus he is pretty sure she isn't exactly the sanest woman in New York.

He rolled onto his side and pulled out his phone unlocking it and scrolling beginning to scroll through social media for a while, as he scrolled he came across a particular profile...Michelle Jones. He felt angry just hearing her name, well in this case reading her name. But the point still stood, she stalked him and took photographs of him when he was going about his normal day; that just isn't normal!

He growled a little and locked his phone throwing it onto his nightstand, then as the darkness wrapped around him like a cocoon a certain feline face came into the forefront of his mind. The Black Cat...he couldn't help but smile at her efforts to ensnare him. It was actually pretty flattering that a woman as beautiful as her wanted to be with a man like him.

Bzzz. Bzzz. Bzzz

Peter looked down at his phone and instantly paled when he saw a message from Cindy Moon. He had completely forgotten about her. Though could you blame him with all the drama with Michelle Jones and Black Cat.

Cindy: Hey Pete you up? 🤔

Peter: Yeah I'm up sorry I never got the chance to text you. Been really busy lately. 😅

Cindy: No problem Pete I know how it can get. Look I wanted to ask if you would like to hang out at my place after school tomorrow. I really want to talk to you about something important.

Peter instantly froze, what could she want with him. Did she want to make out with him again? Did she want to shout at him for not contacting her after such an intimate moment that they had both shared? What could she want from the young hero? He gulped and began typing his response deciding not to be a coward and facing the situation head on.

Peter: Ok. I guess that I'm free 😐

Cindy: Perfect. See you tomorrow Pete 😊

Peter: Looking forward to it 😐

Peter tossed his phone aside and let out a groan of anguish as he anticipated that the very next day was possibly going to be his last, so what if he was being melodramatic...he was a teenager after all.

Despite her apparent failure with trying to get to the Spider-Man, Michelle couldn't help but also see it as a win. She made him hesitate when she approached him in a sexual manner, meaning that he was thinking about the Black Cat in a sexual way. She was making progress, that was for certain, but it wasn't going as well as she wanted. Sure there were set backs but is that not expected when trying to capture the heart of the most popular superhero in the world?

That's why Michelle couldn't help but smirk to herself when she was watching Peter across the gym, he seemed more shaken than before, maybe she had gotten under his skin. They were doing general fitness routines, she never normally participated and preferred to sit on the side lines and observe...but something was different today. Peter actually seemed to be even more jumpy than normal.

"Yo Parker!" yelled the familiar voice of the resident bully Flash Thompson. Michelle watched on with curiosity as Flash approached Peter. Michelle was about to get up to stop Flash when Peter spoke up, "You know what Eugene I am done with this bullshit bravado of yours." Everyone went silent even Flash couldn't think of a response before Peter pushed past him and exited the gym making sure to slam the door. Michelle looked on with curious eyes wondering what had gotten into her Spider to make him act this way, he never usually stood up for himself when it came to Flash or any other bullies.

Though what seemed to make Michelle even more curious was the fact that Cindy Moon had just rushed out of the gym after Peter. Well curiosity did kill the cat. Michelle rose from the bleachers where she was sitting and made her way out of the gymnasium, following Cindy Moon and keeping a careful distance as to not attract attention. She watched as Cindy grabbed the wrist of Peter Parker and turned him to face her...but what happened next would make her blood boil.

Peter rushed from the gymnasium as quick as he could, he couldn't believe that he had just snapped at Flash for being an asshole! It was the stress of Black Cat, Michelle Jones and Cindy Moon all finally coming to fruition. He could hardly think straight most of the time and he wasn't even sure who he liked any more. Hell he had even ignored Ned's texts because he was that stressed out over the car crash that was his love life.

He stormed through the hallways of Midtown without a destination in mind, he was just too caught in his own thoughts. "Peter!" called a very familiar voice from over his shoulder. Peter sighed and kept walking knowing that the owner of the voice was part of the reason he was so on edge. That was until he felt her hand wrapped around his wrist, "Peter look at me." Peter turned slowly and faced her, he was expecting her to be angry, sad or something along those lines. He wasn't expecting her to be smiling. "I thought you were mad at me?" asked Peter softly. Cindy giggled, "I could never be mad at you Peter."

She cupped his face and leaned in slowly. This time Peter was ready and he leaned in slowly as well, then their lips met and it felt like electricity had shot through them both melting them together in the sweet sensation of their perfect kiss. But little did they know how much trouble Peter was about to get into because of this shared moment...because now the Cat hunts the Spider.
