Ever since you're born there's a countdown on your wrist, once it reaches 0, that's when you meet your soulmate.

Alison looked at her wrist '01:00:00', she only had to wait one more hour to meet her soulmate.
At lunch she had 5 minutes left, she was so exited and nervous.
When she had a little less than a minute left, she felt the sudden urge to get up and walk towards the trash can, and clean out her tray. So, she did.
As she was walking towards the trashcan someone hit her and they both fell to the floor
That exact second; both of their clocks reached 0.

I got this idea from a Pinterest post that told writers to elaborate on the idea of a countdown on peoples wrists for when they met their soulmates.
