She felt alone.
Even in the middle of a crowd. Even in her own home.
She always felt as if no one was listening to her. As if no one cared.
If she ever had to speak in front of a group of people she would hide. When she met new people, she would stay as quiet as she could.
She felt alone, and when she had the chance to change it, she was scared. She felt like she didn't deserve not to be alone. She knew it would sound crazy to someone if she ever had to explain it. But that's how she felt.

I'm starting to get used to writing at 11:30. I know this isn't a story, and that it doesn't have a setting. But for me, this tells a story in a different way, you can imagine what happens without being confined to just one situation, and it tells more than one story in one while seeming like a simple explanation.
