you were currently laying down on the boring couch of your apartment, feeling like shit and even losing it. you hated staying home alone for more than a day. and you couldn't contact anyone since no one wanted to talk to you, except Ethan.
you've always had a thing for him, but you were hard to get and you knew it. you didn't want to show the fact you had feelings for him and it was easy for you to do. u always wanted ppl to know how to spread positivity and you cared about ppl. you would try ur best to help ppl in their hard times but you never focused on ur own, which caused ur mental health to crash. Ethan knew about this. you'd cry a lot because of your life outside of school. and it was hard to handle but you always had Ethan.
you forgot that you texted him to come over. he lived right in front of you so it wasn't a problem. Ethan was ur only nice, gentle guy friend...one of the reasons why u liked him. you fell asleep out of crying so much.
ethan's pov :
i was on my way to y/n's house since she texted me to come over. ive always had a thing for her but i doubt that she had the same feelings towards me. ik that she struggles with her mental health but ik that she can be the happiest and the most positive person that ik. she just soo many things to me. she means a lot to me and i care abt her so much. i always have to urge to just keep her safe because to me she just one of a kind.

me: hey y/n im coming in not even a minute
no reply
ethan'pov:
she usually answers right away but i simply decided to got to her apartment since she gave me a copy of her keys.
since i figured she was probably having a really trash day, i brought some fun stuff to do together like ''WHAT THE MEME'' since we love to send each other memes. i also bought her favorite snacks cuz ik she gets really lazy to even feed herself.
when i got there, i was about to yell her name to scared her but i saw y/n lay on her couch, sound asleep with her glasses and opened mouth drooling but to me, she looked so precious.
third-person pov:
as ethan layed his belongings on the floor closed the door behind him and quietly went to check on y/n in her living room. ethan saw that she had her crooked glasses on that could possibly break. so he carefully tried to remove her glasses and brushed away her hair that was on her beautiful face he would say. he was so distracted by her beauty that he didn't realize y/n was awake.
y/n's pov:
i woke up on my couch kinda confused but i got startled by seeing ethan right in front of my face.
''omg y/n im so sorry i d-didnt mean t-to wake u up'' he stuttered
when ethan, stutters, it means he's nervous.
''oh its ok E, dont worry, i just forgot you where gonna co-''
he then put his big but soft hands on my cheeks.
ethans's pov:
i saw in her glossy brown eyes that she had cried. her pink rosy cheeks were stained by her tears. i grabbed her blanket and sat next to her under it. without saying anything, i put my hand over her head and pulled her close to me. i rocked her slowly. rubbing her back to soothe her, i heard her shaky sigh, meaning that she was crying silently. i didn't say a word, neither did she. it wasnt awkward, it just felt... right.
third person pov:
after a while, the two stopped this silent moment to really admire themselves. y/n stared at ethan and so did he. she then looked down at her crossed legs and tucked her hair behind her ear, blushing at the fact that she was staring. she felt those butterflies. ethan chuckled and grabbed her chin to look at him. she got nervous, which she never liked showing. she then realized that he looked at her lips and as a reflex, she licked her lips but in a split second, she felt the softest thing on her lips. it was ethan who kissed her. at this point ethan knew she felt the same because she wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him back. he got butterflies and he can feel y/n's smile. she was just precious to him. she was one of a kind.
