chapter 15 Trisha tries to save everyone

Trisha had not spent the last few minutes hiding. Trisha had been trying to find a way out of here. She knew that Stephanie was a very capable fighter, and could hold her own for a while. The whole time she was trying to map the escape route that they would take to get out of here.

Finally though, she was forced to stop mapping out her escape plan when she saw just how badly Stephanie was getting beat.

"STOP!" Trisha cried out, "please don't hurt her."

"Where have you been?" Stephaine croaked.

"I tried to find a way that we could escape." Trisha said, not quite knowing what she was going to say next, but hoping to come up with something to save Stephanie

"Yeah thats great," Dawn said annoyed, "but I'm a little busy, so you should probably explain to me in like two seconds why I should not kill Stephanie."

Trisha thought to herself for a second. She couldn't think of anything, and then it hit her. Sapphire had mentioned that Dawn couldn't hurt her, and while it seemed that the same was not true for Steph, it might be for her. "Because if you let her go," Trisha said, hoping that her bluff was correct, "then I will come with you willingly. You can't kill me, so you need to be careful how you fight me. But if you let her go, then I will be out of your way. You can perform whatever experiments you were performing earlier on her on me. So what do you say, if you promise not to kill her, then I will go with you."

Dawn thought about the deal for a second, and laughed on the inside. He never would have found Trisha among those building's if it wasn't for Stephanie. Either that, or Trisha would have just ran away, and he needed Trisha, "Fine, come over here." Dawn said, and dropped Stephanie.

Trisha ran over and hugged Stephanie almost limp body, "Listen, it will be okay." Stephanie felt awful. Why did Trisha have to choose to save her?

"Don't do this." Stephanie said. She couldn't imagine being alone again. She thought that maybe it would be best if Dawn took her too. She would probably die either way, at least she wouldn't die alone if she went with Trisha.

She couldn't do that though. Trisha was risking her life to give Stephanie this opportunity, and Steph thought she should at least try to take it.

Dawn ended the moment between them by grabbing Trisha and pulling her away. Trisha tried to hold on as long as she could, but when Dawn finally broke her grip, she stopped resisting.
