"Sorry sir..." she muttered quietly.

"That's okay, the wand chooses the wizard and that's certainly not the wand for you" he recurred.

He strolled over to another wand book and very gently removed it. "Hmmm, try this one on for size"

"Well okay..." she took it cautiously.

"This wand's a Holly wood, eleven inches, with a unicorn hair core"

"Hmmm..." she shrugged, waving the wand nervously. Instantly the lights in the back of the shop began to flicker wildly.

"No, no, no!" Ollivander groaned in frustration. He walked back to where the numerous shelves were located; in one last attempt to find the perfect wand for the little girl last stood before him.

"Hmmm, I wonder..." he told himself as he pulled out one last box, walking back to where Riley stood, he opened it to reveal...

"This here wands extra special" he announced. "It's made of Burch wood "It's made of Burch wood, has a Unicorn hair core, and is only 9 inches in length.
