Upon approaching Snape's classroom, Riley watched with curiosity as Dumbledore walked in. Riley, hesitated a minute before strolling in after.

Riley, surprised to find the class empty, sat quietly down in the blue chair in the corner; the very same chair she had place her swung her blue backpack over earlier.

She thought she would just spend the whole conversation listening intently to the two professors quarrel. However, she quickly found herself getting quite bored and instead decided to go deep-diving into her bag looking for something more interesting to do to pass the time. Taking out a book from her bag, she instantly read the title, wondering if what she had found was one of the muggle books she had brought back with her from the bowls of San Francisco or just another one of the thousands of magical textbooks she had bought.

Upon looking at the title, she found that it wasn't one but two books that she grabbed out of her satule. One muggle and one wizard-style book lay gripped tightly in her hands before her. The muggle books tile on the cover, she had a hunch that she surely had read it before. a semi-old book she had ever since she was much younger, she guess . Two books very similar in that of magic and fantasy, and yet— very different as well. The muggle human book entitled either Peter Pan or The Island Stallion. Either one intrigue her with an intense mesmerize feel; and yet, the magical book from this world... her potions textbook remained unopened— waiting, thirstfully to be absorbed by her and to share its ever so precious knowledge that was held between its precious pages.

She place the muggle novels back into her book-bag, as she began to absorb the new, never before seen or opened, textbook. Upon opening it, she went about flipping through it pages until she came to a potion that she, herself, knew she could do. Maybe, just maybe— if I can perfect this potion then maybe Professor Snape will see I am worthy of being here. She thought excitedly.
