A White Room

Chapter 13

So, I'm going to say something I haven't said before, some of the real life facts are changed for the purpose of this story, the winner of a challenge might change, or the people involved in a video might also change for the purposes of the story. 

The boys quickly enough went off to where they were filming, Garret met them there. On the trip and throughout the filming Chris learned more about Jake and Tareq, and he got along with them easily. Something everyone could tell Chandler was excited about. When it came to the actual filming process, Chris just tried his hardest to forget the cameras were there and just have fun with his new friends. 

Chandler seemed to relax some once the cameras were on, as if he knew everything was returning to normal with them around. The two both seemed to enjoy themselves. Even as filming stretched into a second day they were all having fun, Chris almost forgot that he had just met all these people within a few month period. It seemed as though it had always been this way. Eventually filming was over, but the work wasn't, they had to clean up the orbeez, Jimmy refused to let a mess be made due to him and Chris deeply respected it. 

So, Jimmy had called in a small army to clean. And Chris got along with most of those people as well. He did have some hard feelings towards some though as he realized some of those people were the ones Jimmy had paid to befriend Chandler. Chandler seemed to avoid those people, Chris did as well for the most part. They cleaned up all 100 million orbeez with a lot of bins and shovels. Jimmy had Jake drive the orbeez off to a storage unit they have for the things they collect, according to him and Chandler they also have 100 million legos. Chris didn't question it. 

After the multiple days of filming, Chandler was ready to go home and not have to deal with a billion people for a day or two, he only wanted to deal with one, Chris. "I can drive you home if you want Chris."

"You sure you're ready to drive again?" Chris asked.

"Yeah, come on," Chandler said. Chris sighed and agreed to letting Chandler drive. Chandler did alright on the drive back, he almost ran a red light, but stopped in time. But besides that, he did great.

"Want me to spend the night again?" Chris asked Chandler.

"I'd love it if you would, but only if you want to," Chandler said.

Chris smiled, "Any time with you is time I adore Chandler." Chandler rolled his eyes some, but was smiling widely. Chandler had to admit, he adored Chris a lot. He still didn't know what to do about it though, Chris had mentioned that he had dated guys and girls in the past so it's not like Chris was straight. Chandler knew he was bi from a young age, Jimmy knew that too. 

"What are you thinking about Chandler?" Chris asked. Chandler had been driving in silence. 

"What our next video might be," Chandler lied smoothly, "Likely going to be a challenge one I bet."

"Are those ones fun?" Chris asked.

"Usually," Chandler answered, "More often than not I'm the first one out. Just staying still for that long gets to me. Although, I'm probably much better at it after my life these past two years."

Chris smiled, "Maybe you'll win."

"Maybe," Chandler went quiet for a moment, "If it is a challenge, you should definitely join Chris. Jimmy throws thousands of dollars at the winner."

"I figured that out after how willingly he offered money today," Chris replied. Chandler smiled. The two made it back to Chandler's apartment soon after, Chris ran across the street to grab clothes to sleep in that night as well as clothes for the next day. When he got back, Chandler had ordered a pizza for them and was texting Tareq about something.

The boys ended up having a movie marathon of Marvel movies, and laughing, and just in general being friends. Both falling asleep on the couch again like the previous nights. Chandler was once again woken up by his phone, mostly Jimmy texting him and asking for him and Chris to come to the warehouse to talk about the next video. Chandler smiled softly at how quickly Jimmy accepted Chris into their dynamic, and how happily the others all did as well. Chandler woke up Chris and the two got ready together. Once they were both dressed and ready for the day, they got into Chandler's car for him to drive to the warehouse. 

They walked into the warehouse together and were greeted by Jimmy, Jake, and Tareq and Chandler was happy to have this routine again. 

"I have an idea for a new challenge video," Jimmy said smiling.

Chandler smiled as well, "What is it?"

"Last to leave asylum." Chris could almost feel time slow as he watched Chandler's eyes blaze up, Chandler wasn't even amused by the suggestion. 

"No." Chandler replied shortly. Chris was silent but wasn't nearly as calm as he looked. Jimmy knew damn well that Chandler would participate in any challenge video, but that idea was cruel. Chandler had even expressed to Jimmy how much he resented his white room before, and now Jimmy wanted to put Chandler through that again for a youtube video? Chris was curious if there was an ulterior motive for suggesting such a cruel thing.

"Chan! It'll be fun," Jimmy reasoned. 

"No it fucking won't!" Chandler replied, "I already fucking sat in an asylum for two fucking years, and you didn't fucking help the situation at all!!!" Chris could tell Chandler was about to blow up, and frankly Chris was considering encouraging him.

"You visited a few times, and towards the end you were happily there every fucking day, but that was after you had another 'sane' person there though, Right?! You preferred to pay people to put up with me than visit yourself! And when you did start visiting often, it was always when Chris was there!! Some fucking friend, huh Jimmy!!" Chandler started, "And now you think it would be fucking fun to put me back in an enclosed room for a fucking youtube video? I knew you weren't the smartest but I wasn't expecting you to be fucking dumb Jimmy! I figured someone I had been friends with since fucking birth would be more understanding about that than you are being!" 

"Chandler," Jimmy tried to say.

"NO! Don't give me whatever excuse you have prepared Jimmy, I don't want to hear it!" Chandler shouted before storming out of the warehouse. Chris stood quickly and raced after Chandler.
