"Raven?"
Raven turned to find BB, holding his hands behind his back. "Hello, Beast Boy. What you got there?"
Beast Boy revealed a black rose. Each of its petals had spiky gray edges and the stem had been sprinkled with gold glitter. A lilac stripe went down each petal.
Raven took it in appreciation. "Beast Boy, it's beautiful. Where did you find it?"
BB put his hand on the back his neck. "Well...
(Flashback)
BB paints a regular red rose a bunch of other colours and sprinkles glitter over the whole thing. He slices and dices the edges of the petals and has a goofy grin on through it all.
"Let's just say I had to buy a lot of paint," Beast Boy finished.
"Well, I love it." Raven smiled.
Beast Boy sighed. Her smile is beautiful, he thought, she should do it more often.
"Let's dance," Raven suggested. She tugged Beast Boy's tux jacket sleeve and he followed her onto the dance floor.
I need to be romantic more often.
