Chasm

I was alone,
Completely alone,
When you found me
In the dark.

You picked me up,
And brushed me off.
You wiped away my tears,
and gave me hope.

I trusted you,
You were my only support
Until you left me,
Alone again,
And I broke.

I guess you grew tired of me,
I suppose I am annoying.
Because of this,
you let me go.

I leaned on you too much,
And when you let me go,
I fell into the dark chasm,
And I heard
My heart break,
And fall to pieces.
