You awoke to the sound of yelling.

You sat up and saw as Sapphire warped away. Ruby collapsed to her knees, tears brimming in her eyes before falling down her face.

You didn't know what had happened. Amethyst and Ruby talked and Pearl and Steven went after Sapphire.

"We just figured out that Rose was Pink Diamond." Amethyst told you.

You blinked a few times. "Eh?"

"Oh right. You wouldn't know about the Diamonds and Rose." Amethyst chuckled. "The Diamonds are the most powerful gems in existence. White, Yellow, Blue, and Pink, were the only Diamonds. It was believed that a rebel leader, Rose Quartz" she gestures to the wall where a picture of a lady sat. "Shattered Pink Diamond. After that, the war pretty much ended. Junk got left behind, gems were corrupted, only Pearl, Garnet, and Rose survived. I had come out of the ground late. I was a runt, but Rose didn't care. It turns out that Pink Diamond and Rose Quartz were the same people. Pink had faked her shattering." Amethyst shrugged. "I don't except you to understand this since you weren't here. You don't know anything about Rose or the Diamonds."

"So she deceived you?" You concluded.

"Yeah, I guess you could say that."

"Y'all believed her, trusted her, and she lied to you for thousands of years?"

Amethyst groaned. "Yes."

"Gees. That's a harsh truth to face."

"Meh." Amethyst shrugs.

"Can I have a pen and paper?" Ruby suddenly speaks up.

Amethyst turns to her. "sure" She gets up and gets Ruby the pen and paper.

"Wanna play some games Y/N?" Amethyst asks climbing up the stairs after she gave Ruby what she asked for.

You only nod.

Amethyst sets up the games and the two of you play.

Ruby left the house at some point. You didn't know when.

Some time after, Steven, Pearl, and Sapphire, returned through the warppad.

They found the note that Ruby had left and Sapphire began to cry.

They asked you and Amethyst if y'all knew where she went. Neither of you had a clue.

This made Sapphire start crying more. Pearl tried to reassure Sapphire only to make herself cry.

Steven said he'd go find her. Amethyst said she'd go with him. You had stayed behind.

Sapphire and Pearl had cried to each other and said all sorts of things. You had zoned them out.

Honestly you didn't care about what was happening. You stared blankly at the TV screen blankly.

Garnet... A symbol of love between Ruby and Sapphire. Your mother a symbol of love that between two gems that stayed that way so long they pretty much forgot they were different gems. They were lost and lonley until they met dad. Blurple a symbol of yours and Lapis's love. Used to be love.

She didn't love you anymore.

Perhaps fusion was not a symbol of love at all. Perhaps it was nothing more than a fantasy. An image of lies and half truths.
