Frustration

You, Lapis, and Steven, all arrive back at the temple. You walk in to find Connie and all of the gems from earlier today sleeping soundly all over the house. Except one. Where was the green gem?

"Hey uh... I see everyone from this morning except that green gem. Uh what was her name? I completely forgot!" You growled at yourself. " Why is she the only name I can't remember?" You ask yourself quietly

Suddenly, Lapis began to laugh and you blushed in embarrassment. You looked away ashamed you had even asked the question.

"Sorry, I shouldn't laugh." Lapis said trying to hold back her laughter. "I couldn't help but hear you mumble. Is she really the only one you forgot? "

You nod slowly. "Her names Peridot. She was talking about you when you left and she said that she would be the only one you wouldn't forget. Look how wrong she was. " Lapis chuckled a little.

" Oh. Uh.... Why was she talking about me?"

"It wasn't anything bad. She was just impressed by your height."

" Oh" you said relieved they weren't already talking bad behind your back.

" Any who, this is a sleep over and everyone's already laid down to rest so we should too. " Lapis said with a smile. You smiled back.

Steven walked up the stairs to his bed and Lapis walked to a sleeping bag that was lying on the ground. You stood awkwardly in the middle of the room.

"Hey, Y/N, you can sleep with me if you want." Lapis told you with a dark blue blush.

You walked over to her sleeping bag and laid down with her. You were mostly off the sleeping bag trying not to get too close to Lapis.

Suddenly, a pair of arms snaked around you pulling you closer. You turned your head to look over your shoulder. Lapis had gone to sleep quickly. For some reason you wanted to be closer to her.

You turned yourself carefully in her arms and wrapped your arms around her. You pulled yourself closer to her and nuzzled into her chest. She was so warm. You felt so safe with her. You breathed in deeply taking in her scent. You smiled as you closed your eyes and went to sleep.

You slowly open your eyes hearing people around you.

"Take one more before they wake up!!!" You heard Connie practically yell.

" Okay, Okay! " Steven said. You hear a click.

You sat up and looked behind you to find Steven, Connie, and the other gems all looking at you. You turned back to the gem that you were sleeping with. Her dark blue eyes locked with your e/c eyes. She smiled up at you and you blushed slightly.

She chuckled then sat up. She looked to all of the others as they stared at the two of you.

She gave a look of confusion. Steven then turned the camera to her and allowed her to look at all the pictures that he took of the two of you.

A blush made it's way to Lazuli's cheeks. She turned to you. You looked down embarrassed. She smiled at you. "You look cute when you get embarrassed. "

You smiled then looked up at her. "So do you."

" I ship it!!!" Steven yelled and you turned around quickly.

Garnet smiled and gave you a thumbs up.

Amethyst only gave you a small smirk and a satisfied nod.

"You two looked so cute snuggled up together we just couldn't help but take a few pictures." Connie told you.
