Bonus Chapter Part two

The video started and your mom was on the screen once again.

She spoke,

"As I said in the previous tape, this tape is a hypothesis on what you will be like. Since you are organic I have a belief that you can die without your gem being shattered. However, since you're half gem, I believe your body will be stronger and heal much faster.

I also believe you won't be able to... Let me back up. When a gem is hurt badly they will poof. The only thing that will be left visible is their gem. Their projected body will not exist until they reform. For some that can take only a few minutes for others it can take hours. Since you'll be organic, you won't be able to do this. Or that's what I believe. I might be wrong.

I also believe that you won't be able to fuse. Since, again, your body is organic. When two gems fuse they are combining, their minds, projection or body, and their weapons or powers. Because of the organic matter, you might never feel how it is to be fused.

I believe you will still be able to summon your weapon. A whip. I'm not sure how, The weapon comes out of your gem, perhaps you can practice, just Imagine removing the whip from your gem.

You also might still be able to see into the future or make ice form. Those are all skills I have... We have... Watch the next video."

Just like that the video shut off. You pulled the last one out. You took the second one out and slipped the third one in.

You pressed play.

Your mother appeared on screen, then light surrounded her, she became two separate people, A sapphire and an amethyst.

"Though Sapphire and I love your dad, we love each other too." Amethyst spoke.

"We told your dad we could just leave one or the other behind. We had been together for thousands of years and we'd be lost without each other. He understood. We decided that when it's time for you to be created, we are going to become you, not just one of us. It was a difficult decision to make, we knew that meant leaving you and your father alone. We're sorry for that, by we just couldn't bring ourselves to stay apart like that." Tears formed in Amethyst's eyes. Sapphire put her hand on her back.

Sapphire smiled at the camera. "We do love you Y/N, I wish my future vision would allow me to see you, allow me to look into your future, but beyond all of that is just black to me. I don't know what will happen to you, I don't know what you look like. I do hope for the best though. We hope for the best. Now, if you didn't already, open the box." They both smiled before fusing. The video stopped and you turned to the small box.

You reached in and pulled out the small box. There was a key and folded picture. You unfolded the picture then jumped up. You shoved the key in your pocket and ran out of your room. "Dad, we need to go back to the beginning."

Your dad looked up at you from the couch confused. "The beginning?"

"The first house."

"Are you sure? You might run into one of your old bullies."

"It's something mom left me so I'm positive." You smiled. Not a fake smile like you used to give him but a genuine smile.

Your dad sighed. "Alright, let's go."

You cheered before running out the door. Your dad followed after you not in as much of a rush as you were.

The two of you hopped into the truck and drove to where it all began.

The drive was long, very long. You had forgotten how long this trip was going to take. After driving for 8 straight hours, your dad pulled up to a hotel.
