I'm watching the late-night busy street of Montréal to avoid meeting the eyes of this guy across me.
"Why did you wait for me?" I ask without looking at him.
"Erra told me to fetch you." I look at him. Why does he always do what Erra asks of him? Does he...
"Do you like her?" I cross my arms. I don't know why I'm feeling uneasy.
"Yes." How could he be so honest? It's pissing me off.
I quickly grab his iced coffee placed on the table then drink from it. I slowly put down the cup when I realize what I just did.
"You seem to drink fast for a person who doesn't like coffee." He teases.
"Sorry."
"How does it taste?" He's being extra talkative today.
"Bad as I've thought." I roll my eyes at him.
Why am I being annoyed at him? He just told me he likes Erra and I acted out of impulse. Calli, what is happening to you?
I see Ash Greysen coming out of a van. He spots me then enters the café.
"Callista." He comes near us. I didn't look at him but Ezió does. "I'm sorry, bro." He raises his hands like giving up then leaves us alone. When he left, I see Ezió smirk.
I know what Ash Greysen concluded and I won't clear it up to him because I don't want to talk to him. I don't want to talk to anyone.
"Why did your boyfriend leave?" I play with the cup. I'm no one's girlfriend. "If you're not coming with him, come with me because Erra might kill me."
"She better should." I whisper.
Erra is staring at something when I enter. She immediately hides it behind her back when she sees me.
"Did you finish the show?" She gets up from sitting on the floor.
"I'm ready to be killed." I remove my ponytail letting my hair fall. I jump to lie down on my bed.
I look at her as I remember the poster I saw.
"Do you want to join the audition?" I stare at the ceiling. She doesn't answer. "Okay. I'll take that as a yes."
"You don't have to say yes when you don't want to." She's still saying this with much confidence. This girl is something else.
"You shouldn't stop someone when you really want them to say yes." My phone starts to vibrate.
I get my phone from my pocket. It's my sister. I get out before answering her call. I walk straight to the garden. I think there are many people at the lounge.
"I told you to stop calling me." I sit at one of the benches. It's cold out here. I forgot to bring a sweater.
"I'll visit grandma next weekend." I can hear an engine noise from her background. "I'm fixing Black." Her motorbike. She sounds happy. It's been years since she rode her bike.
"Do what you want to do." I'm keeping my calm.
"Can I see you when I get there?"
"I'm hanging up. Stop calling me." I let out a deep sigh after hanging up at her. As much as possible, I don't want anything that deals with her. I get pissed every time I see her. She's doing great while I'm suffering on something she should be on.
