"Hey!" Ash greets me as soon as he opened the door.
I didn't greet him back instead I go for why I came here. "Do you have my tape?"
Confusion is plastered on his face. There's no reason for him to get my tape but I'm asking just in case he took it out of curiosity or whatever the reason may be. I just want to have my tape back.
"Nope but if you need one, I can let you borrow mine." He walks to his table and takes a scotch tape.
I roll my eyes. "Cassette tape."
"I have no idea that you keep one."
"Oh, okay." I feel embarrassed.
I'm sure he has nothing to do with it besides why would he even take something that has been thrown. He isn't that crazy. I'm crazy for thinking that he might took it.
"Good night." He smiled at me before closing the door.
I spent almost half an hour writing and erasing texts to Ezió. I can't find the right question to ask him because why would he know about that tape?
Hello! I'm sorry for bothering you but do you happen to see someone going over the trash bin the time after I left?
Hi! Do you have my tapes?
Hey... Do you know about the tapes I have? I threw it in the trash bin and I regret it and now it's missing. Do you happen to have it?
Hello! Did someone collected the garbage in the trash bin near the café?
These sound so funny and crazy. I'll look ridiculous if I'll send him these messages. I decided not to ask him. I'll just accept the fact that I lost my tape. No one would know it's me anyway. In the first place, it's my fault.
Erra woke me up at three am. She's seated on her bed with her back resting on the wall while looking at a picture frame. She does this when she thinks I'm not looking which makes me curious on what's on the frame.
"I'll get in this time." She said without leaving her eyes on the photo. Then, I went back to sleep.
I smell banana-scented perfume when I wake up. Erra's already dressed and ready for our audition. What made me surprised is her in a dress. She doesn't wear anything like that but sleeveless tops and tight jeans. She looks like a curly-haired fairy on that white, off-shoulder, maxi dress.
"You're pretty excited." I tease her while making my bed.
"I'm not being obvious." I hope I won't take that away from her. My heart's really beating too fast right now. I hope our audition won't end up like yesterday.
After taking my shower, I wear everything I'm always wearing. I don't have anything that's not black. I put my long red hair in a bun before my bandana. I am not used to any other hairstyles but this.
We fetch Uryella at their house and her mom's very supportive towards her and us.
"I'll be live streaming." She waves us goodbye.
I intentionally forgot about the live streaming thing because knowing that everyone in the world can watch me makes me more anxious. If I'll make any mistake, everyone could see. I shouldn't be thinking this way in the first place.
There are more than 20 girl bands, out of hundreds or thousands performing today. I feel intimidated as I walk past them. I clasp my hands together when I feel them trembling then suddenly someone touches my arms.
"Good luck." Ezió said in a soft voice, almost not heard. He tries to avoid my eyes.
"Oh, thanks. Anyway, how'd you get here? Where's Kade and Ash?"

abstracts & him
