Okay, before I start glaring at my fingernails, quick suggestion:
If you get triggered easily, please, don't read this. And if you disagree with me, keep it to yourself, I don't wanna deal with it right now about this topic.

And, if you think I'm hating on anyone, or diversity, or gay, I'm not. I just don't like it when people are treated unfairly, even when they are book characters.

Also, go to the end if you won't bother reading this, I'll write a meme version (in bold) of basically all that I'm saying.

So, I'm a little... disappointed in the fandom, I guess you can say.

And here's why:

Rachel had a crush on Percy. Deal with it, move on! Don't hate on her for it! Seriously!
It's completely normal for her to have a crush.
And yet, everyone started hating her for it.
Honestly, I thought their kiss in The Last Olympian was cute (not that I ship them).

Now, when Nico had a crush on Percy, the exact same situation as Rachel (okay, no, not exactly, I know he's gay), everyone just looooooved it. Because he was different?

No! Just, no!

Nico was gay, awesome.
And Rachel was not.
Now, somehow, that affects how people see her, huh?
So, what, do we all make her bi? Is that better? Hm?

*takes a deep breath*
Okay, okay, I'm somewhat chill.

Maybe.

Oh, here, the meme version for those who didn't get that or didn't read it...

Meme version:

Rachel: *has a crush on Percy*

Fandom: booooo! You're ruining Percabeth!

Nico: *has a crush on Percy*

Fandom: wow! So diverse! So unique! So amazing! So—

Me: okay, wtf?!
