Chapter 16: For You

JIMIN POV:

Later that afternoon,

*Ding Dong*

"Yes, coming!"

I heard Jin hyung yell as we are getting ready to go out since our manager had called us to attend an urgent meeting that had us yet baffled. Me and Tae already on the couch waiting for the rest to come down as Jin hyung quickly reaching for the door and opened it wide revealing a very familiar figure behind it.

"Kookie!" I'm the first to jump out from the couch and childishly running to hug Jungkook which strangely he didn't hug me back.

"Kookie..." I look up to his face and he gave me a very sad look that had me concerned.

"What's wrong?" I asked but he just remained silent. We just stare to each other soul without exchanging any words.

"Whoa! What are you doing here?" I peered behind once I heard Yoongi hyung's voice and see the rest standing side by side including Jin hyung.

"I need to tell you something." I look back to Jungkook who suddenly spoke after being silent but this time he gave me and the rest a cold look. Making me feel so distant away from him.

"What?" I heard Yoongi hyung said with a pissed tone that later make Jungkook sneered.

"From now on, don't bother about seeing my face up front because I won't be meeting you all anymore. We're over, Jimin." He said blatantly and my heart shatters.

"Bye." He said aloofly and left me standing still with broken heart. My feet glued to the ground as I just watch him get into his car and hit the road getting further away from me.

After a moment, I fell on my knees as tears pooling my eyes started streaming down one by one until it became countless. I can feel someone hugging me from behind but I didn't bother to look on who as I buried my head on his chest crying my heart out.

JUNGKOOK POV:

"Please...please stop me, Jimin!!" I said to myself as I slowly walked away from him towards my car as my heart hurts seeing Jimin's broken expression. I had to do this for the sake of two of us. I don't want to see him hurt by harsh treatments if this continues. He doesn't deserve all the hate but deep down I don't want to end this.

Fuck the spiteful society!

But I need to think ahead of this, I can't act selfishly. My damage is nothing compared to what Jimin and the others will have to face. I'm sorry but I had to do this.

"How was it?" I heard Hoseok hyung asking me a very thoughtless question as soon I'm back home and instantly I shout at him.

"Fucking fine! Get out! I don't want to see anyone..." I broke down at the last remark.

I hang my head down succumbing to the bitter and painful feeling. Immediately, I feel Hoseok hyung embraces me. He placed my head on his shoulder.

"Let it out." He said with voice lined with sadness.
