Tony ended up spending the night with Evelyn making sure she slept without the issues of her past coming to haunt her mind.

Once the morning arrived Tony decided to make Evelyn's childhood favourite before she woke as a feel better present. He quickly got to work finding the ingredients to make chocolate chip pancakes, and began cooking.

Clint was the first to arrive in the kitchen, dropping down from the vents the instant he smelt food. The rest soon followed, but they were prevented from eating by Tony who fended his creations with a knife as he waited for his daughter to show. 

"F.R.I.D.A.Y tell Evelyn breakfast is ready and she needs to get her butt down here." Tony said becoming increasingly agitated with his teammates. 

A few minutes later Evelyn came barrelling into the room a grin on her face.

"..Is that.. choco chip.. pancakes?" She said out of breath scrambling into the kitchen.

Tony handed her a plate, a warm smile gracing his features before he turned towards the rest of the group giving them a dirty look before grabbing his own plate strolling after her. That was the moment chaos broke out in the kitchen, when food was involved the superheros tended to get aggressive. 

Once everyone had settled a light chatter filled the room. The morning banter gave Evelyn a sense of warmth she hadn't had in years, she had a family, and this was it. The morning conversation kept Evelyn's mind off of the events of the previous night. 

After breakfast Evelyn managed to convince Thor and Loki into a day watching movies, and after seeing her excitement others of the team agreed to join bringing a bigger grin to her face.

Evelyn ended up sitting on Loki with her legs stretched over Thor who was seated next to Steve and Bucky. Bucky had to comfort an unhappy Steve because they got 'bad seats'. On another couch Wanda and Vision sat, Wanda eyeing Loki slightly suspiciously. Natasha ended up being convinced to sit in front of Evelyn, because Evelyn insisted in playing with the assassin's hair, and Clint sat next to her. Tony ended up leaving yelling something about a wizard.

Eventually they decided on watching a horror movie which was changed half way through because Evelyn could barley watch out of fear. After determining that anything scary was out of the question, they settled with watching 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off'.

Once the movie ended Evelyn was quick to grab the remote and search for another to watch, but she was interrupted by a small sound from the elevator followed by multiple pairs of footsteps. Quickly Evelyn turned around looking to the man who had barged in. Her soulmates moved fast into defensive positions before realising who it was. 

"Christ Fury! You can't do that I almost shot you!" an annoyed Natasha huffed out, gun still in hand. This just caused Fury to briefly look towards the red head before turning back to Evelyn.

"I actually can do this. I just did." he announced looking back towards Natasha to see her face grow increasingly annoyed before continuing, "I had to because it came to my attention you had another enhanced in your building without thinking to inform me." throwing a hard glare at Evelyn, who took a scared step back.

The team looked towards the girl in question this caused her to glance around before running as fast as she could to her room out of fear. They stood in shock at watching the speed in which she left. 

"Good job jackasses you scared her." Wanda huffed before strolling off in the direction of Evelyn, Vision following close behind.
