Peter reached Vision and Wanda's room, hesitant to go in he stood in front of the door. On one hand, if Vision was involved he could alert Wanda and possibly hurt Peter, but on the other, if he wasn't involved in the plan he could easily find both Wanda and Evelyn. His thoughts were cut short when he heard an annoyed voice sound from behind him.
"Now what exactly are you doing standing in front of my room?"
Peter thought one thing, fuck.
"Hey Vision listen, it's about Wanda-" He started but what cut off when Vision opened the door and pushed him in before closing the door behind them.
"Listen, where is she? Were you followed?" Vision said as he lowered slightly to reach Peter's level.
"No she's with Evelyn, I saw her, she took Evelyn away." He said. He felt panicked and cornered.
"Where?" There was urgency in Vision's voice.
"I-I don't know she flew like literally flew away with her. Evelyn, she- well she looked unconscious like she had been knocked out."
"Is there anything else you know?" Vision was analyzing everything the scared young man said.
"Well, Evelyn said she heard Wanda talking to someone, conspiring she said..." He trailed off trying to remember what Evelyn had just said to him and then it hit him. Who else would Wanda be talking to other than,
"Me?" Vision said. "You need to come with me spider boy. We'll see Evelyn and Wanda soon enough. All will be explained with time."

Wanda remained isolated in the cabin. There was so much pain radiating from Evelyn's mark that lay on her arm. She could no longer tell if it had been hours, days, or weeks since Evelyn had left. She thought back to that day. The sight of Pietro smashing into the wall flashed through her mind. Wanda shuttered at the thought. Her mind was clearer now, but there was still a presence lingering. Something other than herself had made itself at home in Wanda's mind. She hated what it had done to her. Any angry or jealous thoughts she had ever had, even the tiniest passing thought had been amplified. Like they had taken a microscope to the worst parts of her brain.
She was getting weak, her body felt heavy. Wanda had practically spent all her time sitting in the bed that Evelyn so briefly laid in. She knew the team would be coming for her again. She had lost their trust once more.
Wanda began to cry. Although she felt like an outcast it was the closest thing she had to family in a long time. She cried even harder at the thought of Pietro. The only comfort she had was the knowledge that he and Evelyn were alive. She hadn't seen vision since she had been at the tower. She thought back to their last encounter. What had happened to him? She knew there was something wrong with her mind, she could feel it, but Vis? he wasn't infected with whatever lurked in her mind, so why did he agree to help her? Out of love?
She couldn't keep thinking. She was getting too tired. She knew they'd find her so she didn't want to hide, just wait. She looked around the room she resided in. The bed was comfortable, the window looked out to the forest and all of the lush greenery that overtook the land. The sun filtered through the clouds and kissed the grass and trees with its golden light. This would be a nice sight to be her last, at least it was peaceful.
Wanda kept her eyes fixed on the landscape outside of the window, but her mind wandered. She played through the happiest of scenarios. She thought of Evelyn coming back to find her, she hoped her soulmate would know she wasn't herself, that she needed her help. She thought of Vision, how lovely it would be to hear his voice, to see him once more. She knew it could never happen now. As she thought, there was a loud bang as the front door to the cabin was busted open. Wanda didn't bother to move or ready herself, she just stayed in bed.
